The direct access road from Canal city is subject to land acquisition of the plantation and farming land near/at the SKVE-WCE interchange.
It can take some time.

Yes.(As far as I know).
If you look closely, WCE has already built a tunnel road underneath the WCE- SKVE flyover /interchange area to link the WCE Tanjung Dua belas Toll plaza to Rimbayu side.
The plantation/farming land e.g. Lumayan Agrofarm land is huge and will be worth millions once WCE is completed. Pretty sure the land will be converted from plantation land to new development in the future.
It takes time though.

There is no direct access WCE road to/from Canal city. we heard from developer. we are property agents =)

Unfortunately we buyers of Canal City "heard" alot from Developer and mostly those mouthpiece dont even know what they are talking about...

wonder if u all notice Rimbayu masterplan is different than previous one.. the link to the road between wce and skve is hilang.

OK. Thanks for the update. Too bad then.
Few years ago, IJM used to say they are planning to build the link road as IJM's subsidiary is the main owner of WCE and IJM is one of the main developers here.IJM even has the link road on their Rimbayu masterplan on their website. (attached).
Looks like the IJM plan has changed.
Looks like earlier buyers kena 'con' again Haha
For those new home buyers, we should boycott all their new launches until the developer can give us proper road infrastructures e.g direct highway access.

Let's see what happens to the plantation/farming land in between Rimbayu and SKVE-WCE interchange in the future.
The tunnels and the basic infrastructure is there for the construction of the link road to the WCE Tanjung Dua Belas toll plaza.

Yes. The link road to WCE sudah hilang. Haha
It was there on their website previously.

Actually to be honest - who cares about the WCE? Hahahah.. I more concerned about the traffic light exiting Rimbayu to KK. That one they need to get a flyover. That is consistently headache during peak hours.

Other than that, they can remove WCE - even I don’t think ppl use SKVE that much. Road to BSP is clear most of the time.

They could do with making Jalan Kebun more of an “option” though. Although that one a bit of a challenge with the kampung areas.

Ya - personally - don’t think most residents care a lot about WCE. Shouldn’t be a deal breaker - got other more useful things they can focus on. It will be a nice selling point though.

Haha. I won't use it either but there will be some folks who may need it and it will be nice to have an alternative route.

New Rimbayu, G257, Eco Sanctuary, TA potential buyers should just boycott these developers eg drop their bookings etc until they can fix the traffic woes here.

To be exact, it is important too to boost the commercial part.

Looks setia Alam with convention center, don't think canal city got business if build one, cause access not good enough

I know I’m biased cause I live here but the pros outweigh the cons. Those specifically looking for an area like this, they might harp about the traffic - but eventually they will dip their toes in and buy if they like what the place offer.

I also wish less ppl here - I don’t want this place turn into a mini Setia Alam etc. too quickly. Hahaha… I think a lot of ppl will be put off with overdevelopment/over connection like other more urban areas.

it bring more traffic and more flow over to hear.
and hence it will be more prosper.

else the commercial jus to cater this few area wont prosper.
without good commercial, we wont have nice new things too.

I heard there is a land sink in Cheria and also Bayan. Bayan is recurrence. Can anyone verify this? What's your guys opinion on Gemala's site?

No land settlement issue in Cheria that we are aware of after more than 2 years of Cheria VP.
We know that there are a few houses in Bayan that has land settlement issues previously.
Tropicana was working with affected homeowners to fix/mitigate the issue.

Gemala's site is up to individual preference. Some people like closer to lake e.g. lake view, river view etc
For me, I prefer a buffer land/zone from the lake but still within walking distance to the lake.
Everyone's is different. smile.gif

Agree. I also wish fewer people here and don't want this place to turn into a 'Setia Alam' too fast Haha
People who move here prefer less density and more open green areas for walking, jogging, cycling, dog park etc

how is the Cheria interm of occupancy? since it is VP 2 years already.
