Used cat6, since not wireless don't get Tapo, the 3 major brand would be much better!

I see, my contractor isn't familiar with wiring cat6 cable. Can only do plug points. I'm trying to conceal the wires as much as possible. Will look into this more. Know any recommended service providers?

Which should I choose? 8mp analog cctv or 4mp colourvu hik ip cctv?

Is dahua cctv camera reliable? Anyone use their wizsense siren cctv before? Is it too loud and prone to false alarms?

for ur info, 8mp analog, the recorder only can process 8fps.
but for 4mp IP, recorder can process up to 25fps.

Wizsense use Ai to detect human/vehicle, not 100% accurate.
The siren is not too loud, but enuf to grab attention.

I want to install a wifi-based CCTV for inner courtyard. Looking for one that can be installed DIY (beginner level), can trigger notification to handphone apps, waterproof and has motion sensor. Already have a power socket for it and want to point it upwards towards opening at the roof. Any recommendation or suggestion? Thank you

what kind of adapter tapo C500 is using? is it for Malaysian 3 pin plug? From a youtube unboxing video, doesn't seem it is, so just wanna confirm.

Try used onvif manager using pc to detect if the ipc is online first, if can be detected just add the ipc with the user/password port 80 under Onvif on XVR.
