I am currently using HIK Apps viewing my cctv remotely.Why after several view of cctv acros 2 weeks, it wont b able to view cctv anymore.I will need to reboot my DVR b4 i could review it again.

Is there a max bandwith for viewing it in apps?

Under auto maintenance, set it to reboot every week or two weeks, settled!

I need a cctv set with audio recording.

Hikvision colorvu / dahua full color 5mp with audio, each set 8 channel costs rm2500 each. Using dvr via rg59.

Reolink with color and audio, for 5mp camera, 8 channel costs rm3000. Using nvr via poe.

Hikvision / dahua apps easy to use? I like the wizsense / acusense function on the dahua and hikvision. Cant go wrong w these 2 brands

For unv, i cannot find any seller on shopee.

I preferred wired. Coz wireless could be a problem if the network failed or no coverage

Dahua full colour w audio, 5mp, 8 channel

Hikvision 2.4k no colour, 5mp 8channel, w audio. Colorvu version need to add money

Seems the Dahua DVR is only 5MN not actual 5MP as for the HIK it's very confusing to me about their 4K Lite. I think you need double check with seller if it's recording at real 5MP. But the Dahua have Wizsene while the HIK only ordinary motion detection. Tough choice

Reolink poe 8ch 5mp set

Is this set better than the hikvision / dahua? Which one is better in your opinion? Tq

Wrong person to ask, Reolink is not a brand I would recommend for commercial used. SOHO still acceptable. But if your cafe is well lit the Reolink does seems a good choice compare to the earlier two, because ip camera still outperform hd analog even though both have same megapixel. Anyway, try get Dahua or HIK POE kit if price not much difference.

Get Reolink 12MP AI ones...no regret.

Not so high la. I have seen installer offering >3k for everything but of cos not 4k quality!

In any products, there are cheaper alternatives if one dont mind to forego certain things to meet the budget.

just wondering if residential the Dahua brand is sufficient?

Many business premises, factories and big projects also used Dahua/HIK so why not for residential? But it also depends on which camera you choose because their range is from entry level to high end professional models.

My colleague recommended HIK to me when I saw your comments on Dahua it made me think about it. Anyway, have discussed with supplier will go for HIK.
