Am playing around with itunes and managed to set a song as ringtone. Also, managed to sync a short movie in rmvb format (45min) to test. However, unable to do so for other formats like mkv and mp4, and larger rmvb files (>900MB). Any idea why? Of I need to use another apps. Thanks

QUOTE(docodomochan @ Oct 22 2016, 02:26 AM) owhhh. so in what condition will they replace with complete new set? im thinking of calling the apple support centre on Monday, hear what they have to say and maybe then will try to go to another service centre besides machine KLCC. trying out my luck if another SC can find any solution. depend on where you bought your phone, just go back ask them whether can change a new set for you or not if your iPhone have problem within few days, but this is depend because Malaysia consumers protect law is weak.if you buy the phone from apple online store and you find out any problem for you phone, you can call apple and ask them whether can change a new set for you or not,Apple online store has a policy call DOA,it can change a new set for you within 10 days count from invoice date. But all is depend on what is your phone's problem. |

QUOTE(denzel88 @ Oct 21 2016, 07:58 PM) So Malaysia got Qualcomm or Intel? Only Japan + China + HK + US (Verizon/Sprint) iPhones get Qualcomm modem, because Qualcomm have patents on CDMA network technology which those countires apprently still use. The rest of world use LTE networks, which is a (mostly?) patent-free technology; so we get Intel modems."Study Shows Huge LTE Performance Differences Between Intel And Qualcomm Versions Of iPhone 7" http://www.forbes.com/sites/aarontilley/20...7/#5c49661a36cf i saw the report, the qualcomm modem apparently has better performance during edge cases like weak signal, but i think that must have a higher cost on battery life, no? like yeah, the intel modem throttles a bit more but doesn't doing that make it use less power (i.e. extend battery life)? any experts can chime in? Thanks 1. turning a song in iTunes to an iPhone ringtone: http://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/iphone/ho...ios-10-3635061/2. the default video app/player in iOS only support certain file formats at specific qualities: (source) QUOTE Video formats supported: H.264 video up to 4K, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.2 with AAC‑LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio or Dolby Audio up to 1008 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo or multichannel audio, in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats; MPEG‑4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640x480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC‑LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio or Dolby Audio up to 1008 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo or multichannel audio, in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M‑JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280x720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format if it's any video you downloaded off the net or something (like .mkv files) you'll need to use a 3rd-party app. for that you can use VLC media player (available for free on the app store), but i actually recommend infuse for iOS if you often watch videos on iPhone. the app is free, but i found it was worth spending USD10 on the in-app purchase for more features. This post has been edited by KaiHD: Oct 22 2016, 03:27 AM |

No late delivery or hiccup for that purchase and delivery was quite fast I would say, received within few days. Not too sure about their iPhone delivery tho |

None provide the charge cycle with iPhone 7. Maybe need to update app or there's no such raw data anymore. yes, apple removed api access to internal battery data in iOS 10. apparently some apps were using the battery state and information to track users for targeted advertising. |

Report after 4 days. Everything is fine except for workmanship issue on all 4 sides touching the screen - not smooth finish, only noticeable when lights reflected on bezel.
Screen was slightly yellowish but now turned bright after 3 days. Not as yellowish as I've seen some who shared photo. Hissing sound and white noise is different. I tested it on first day. Just ran all benchmark and YouTubing and also silent recording. Noticed the actual hissing sound at first but somehow after I stressed it so much, the sound had now disappeared. Not 100% sure but I'm unable to hear it already with ear pressing to the logo. White noise is consistent sound like with tv with no broadcast. The hissing is higher pitch and pulses, not like white noise. I bought from Apple Store online. Yesterday dropped by Machine asking about the workmanship issue and they say not covered unless I report to Apple Support first and they can take the case with Apple case number. I called Apple then and lucky did I do that because it's much easier since I bought direct online. Straight away they arrange for pick up and 1 to 1 exchange. Need to return box and everything. Estimate to take 1 week. Contrary to what was shared by others, the call agent told me the return policy is 14 days from invoice date. This should be true since she told me that at first before I told her I'll be outstation and coming back only in Nov. So, arranging pickup and exchange only then. Hope new unit will be all ok. Taking a bet on it. Meanwhile, I've free use for 2 weeks before changing to a new set |

Yes, for those who wish to keen on getting an iPhone I strongly suggest that you get from apple website since if there's any issue with your device. It is easier to claim from them and there's a one to one replacement of the whole units. Where else from my experience from buying on online platform. It's a bit hard for me to claim a new unit at the moment since I didn't purchased directly from appleScreen was slightly yellowish but now turned bright after 3 days.
