So I was at regent street apple store today, bought another 7 plus. Ended up getting week 37 model which was quite similar but softer in hissing noise (noticeable when record video). Returned it on the spot. Got my existing week 39 swapped out as well. They only had a week 38 unit to spare. Noise seems so much more faint, almost gone but the speakers are not as loud on this compared to the Week 39 unit. Will go back after 2 weeks to see if can get a Week 41 unit. Read in other forums they have no issues.

I can't seem to setup my phone. Trying to restore from iCloud and when tried to key in Apple ID and password it said verification failed.

But I'm using the same login and password in my 6s+. Anyone can help?

Tried to logout and login on my 6s+ no problem. But can't setup the same Id on the new phone. What could be the problem?

guys anyone have experience with refurbish phone before? is it the new housing and new lcd screen?

example if i bring a phone with scratches and defect to service center, and they replace me a refurbish phone. So it will be a different phone like new?

Anyone gotten their Apple Store 7+ jet black delivered today? I've just unboxed mine and sadly there's machining imperfection to the side bezel as reported by some and this is a W40 unit some more. It's not as bad as some reported earlier but you can clearly see it at the right angle with light reflection.

Dunno what to do know. Either accept and keep it or return and wait for weeks with dunno what other problem or a refurbished set.

Haven't power on and test hissgate and screen yet. Thought of applying screen protector first until I clearly notice the imperfection right after opening the box
