Time to replace probably..

Just about 30,000km since the day replaced at SC.
Replaced at SC Seremban today. They have no idea why is this happened. =/

This one done about 130,000km.. no tearing.. no cracks..
Is ur tensioner in good shape?

According to the SC guy yes it's in good shape. But well..let see how it work with new belt. If really happen again then I think better to change the whole set with tensional.

New firmware released.

Feel my car more power than previous.

Is that the 2nd firmware released for year 2018?

No idea on which version.

Just know the latest version released last week.

hi guys..i plan to get a used Suprima..worth it? Is the turbo hose (?) issue has been resolved? what's the effect on the used Suprima?

p/s: i have an Iriz at home

I would said its quite high ranking as national car in term of money, comfortablity, space, engine power and handling.

althought I am driving a used preve turbo, And I believe suprima having upper hands on term of the interior quality, different type of tuning. You can fell being pushed on the seat even if you press pedal slightly from stand still.

Its a good car for the money you pay for it.

the hose so far the solution ia to replace it every 40k, cost about rm1xx. but luckily I never faced such issue as hose burst, fusebox relay kaput. So I would said its a quite reliable car.

you can just go to book a test drive the suprima just for testing.

will try to test drive my friend's preve and compare with suprima..

and wait for DRB hicom day if got any test drive unit available for sale

Make sure your friend pump some RON 97, and update to latest ECU.. then only you will feel the omphhhh.

What sort of recall on CVT gearbox ??? I see from FB Proton CFE Group have recall on CVT gear clutch recall ??? Anyone aware about this ?

Had my updates again. I think it's Version 2 update.

What I feel in different is
1. When 1st start engine (in the morning), the engine RPM will go slightly higher than previous. (SC told me this is one of the update to keep the car easier on cold startup) - 1 of the issue I faced also, sometimes need to crank twice to start. Now no more.
2. Radiator fan will not run as frequent as last time when engine is shut off (this is I personally feel on my car, not sure about other)
3. Driving experience
When drive on "D" mode, the car feel more steady and quite. Comfort.... not as aggressive as previous
When drive on "S" mode, the car can sense very aggressive and response is...awesome.
4. Fuel consumption - this is very subjective but I feel my car getting save in petrol on my daily drive.
5. Jerk when accelerate, this one is like a "cancer" in my suprima, still can feel slightly...very minor...not as worst as last time anymore. Acceptable.

Hi there.
I have with me 4 bottles X 946ml Red Line non slip cvt fluid bought for my preve turbo. However, car was sold and fluid no longer needed.
Anyone intetested, pls om me. Outside selling rm70/ bottle. Intend to let go at rm50/bottle.
