Any news regarding preve/suprima s refinement model?

Spare parts shop. PH II Damansara Jaya. This was for my Persona, not sure about the Suprima. Mine is still functioning.

For the HU can we change to any aftermarket? Or need to have specific model? Will it affect proton current system if we change the HU?

As long as the head unit fits. Not sure if the front or rear parking system will still work, but for the rear I believe you will still be able to connect up the reverse cam to the Reverse AV In port of the new head unit you're buying (if it has one), though you will need to find someone who has done this, or spend some time finding the correct wires for the reverse camera and modifying it to have a male AV connector. I have removed the head unit by myself before and did not see any AV connectors, so the reverse cam's wiring is made specifically for use with the lousy Blaupunkt head unit, or with the rear parking module (if there is one).

As far I know the chinese brand (cogoo) is not compatible witht the reverse sensor and the front sensor, the rest of the brand I don't know. You can go survey around and keep us updated

I just got back my HU warranty, they changed the whole mobo and flash the new rom, so far is quite responsive. So far experienced one time hang, the rest stil function well. Finger crossed ut can last, cos I don't want to spend money on HU.

I have some issues with my suprima (bought oct 2015, mileage 40k)

1) When i change to R, the HU become blank. It is reverse camera or HU problem?

2) One more, when i press front parking button it not working. I went to SC, replaced the switch still not working.

No microsd, just the microsd sd card adapter. Any old microsd card wont work?

Preve refinement is currently for government official use only, not for public sale. And recently there are still spy pics of a Suprima being tested for something.

Don't take his word but someone from the Persona VVT thread asked a Proton SA about this and the SA said the Preve/Suprima public model will receive a facelift and a new powertrain possibly by Geely and launched est.mid-2018.

Imo, it's better for Proton to just continue on with the Preve bc it obviously will sell better. The Suprima is just wasted resources.

I planned to bought an used Suprima S MFG 2015-2016 model.

I heard a lot of stories from Suprima S owner such as rattling sound, CVT problem due to crack hose, Turbo is leaking, Tyre alignment.

Please advice.
