Is there any foreign transaction fee for UOB Preferred Platinum if the card were to swipe oversea?

I was charged an annual fee of RM68 for UOB One credit card. And I called the call centre and the feedback is they cannot waive the charges. Anyone facing similar issues?

Yes, those CS cannot waive anyway. If you want to gamble, then ask for cancellation and see if the retention department will call you to retain and waive AF.

Why if paying vox outstanding , it goes to vox and yolo?..let say paid 200..it divide to both account..

You can appeal.
If unsuccessful, you can ask for fee reduction. I got 50% off few years back (used card after AF charged).
Else, make card cancellation. The retention team might call you.

it's auto-payment allocation. btw, how much does the ratio goes to each account? u paid rm200, 50:50 to each account?

I paid on my vox and the auto populate thing brings the balance to yolo leaving it in excess for no reason last time...

Luckily I realised it two days before due and quickly made all the remaining payment again... otherwise got interest charged gao gao...

and the cs transfer the funds after 5 days only which by then will be too late

According to the CS, once you paid the total of 2 cc, to one of the CC account, it will not charged interest, even though it split unevenly into two cards.

Actually, u can choose to pay to specific credit card and no accept auto, then it should not have this issue.

I called the CS to turn the auto allocation off. Because I paid for both separate cards not just pay for one card only. The auto allocation is very annoying indeed.



And, oh boy how hard to speak to the CS when I call every time. Have to wait on the line for how long idek.

I paid via interbank transfer to spesific vox acc..why they simply allocate to both acc.hmm.so now better terminate the vox card ..

Since no purpose then cancel it.
