Aiyaa... kena Administrative fee RM6.36 in the latest statement. My RM1 transaction on 17 Oct was posted on 19th. Statement date is 18th.

Should be able to get waiver for the fee charged. The messy part is... if I pay the fee first, later on shall have balance excess.

Should I make another transaction to avoid fee charges for 18 Nov statement?

When is the best date to terminate VOX since already got my YOLO?

Another question, for those of you who have more than 1 UOB cards and pay statement amount to only 1 account, is the allocation of payments correct?
I'm curious coz the allocation to my One card is more and VOX less. No financial charges on the VOX though coz covered by cash backs.

I've receive Sept cashbacks for VOX.
Still unable to cancel as I'm getting Oct Admin fee waived. The Oct transaction was before statement date but posted after that. Waiver denied but I'm going for round 2. Haiz... haiz..

how long time you make the call? money spent to call them might no worth to waive the monthly fee.
*
Cost me time and effort only for 5-10 minutes. I think it cost UOB more resources to take call, review and sms me. Now I request them to send me the terms and conditions stating that the transaction must be posted within statement cycle.
Think the monthly fee for VOX is very taxing for UOB to monitor and implement. That's why no longer featured in YOLO.

Is it relevant to keep One & VOX (discontinued), where I already own CIMB CR + MBB Ikhwan + HSBC Mpower + HLB Mach + MBB2Card? I do not have outstanding balances for most of the cards except MBB. I would want to strive to have good track record with BNM, can any senior advises me?
*
If you have petrol expenses and can get AF waiver for One card, then can keep for petrol. You can also request for lower credit limit.
Cancel VOX, zero cashbacks and comes with admin fee.

UOB ONE card

I got the card FREE, then upgrade to ONE for FREE but with AF

Each year I paying stupid AF when I only applied for a free card

I finally gave up because the rebates is not even enough to cover RM200 AF

Not recommended..

My CREDIT is always POSITIVE, meaning I pay advance and never owe
*
I paid 50% (after appeal) last year coz I swiped after AF charges. This year, got 3 years waiver even with lower spending and almost exclusively on petrol only.

If cash rebates just cover AF, certainly not worth.

Woohoo... finally got the VOX monthly Admin fee charges waived... After 3 calls and 2 emails. Initial request for waiver rejected. Then I requested UOB to send me the terms and conditions stating that the admin fee is per billing cycle.

They finally settled and waived without sending me the terms. Time to move on with YOLO.

i think uob cs not very well-trained. i don't think anybody here was charged annual fee.

just cancel uob vox and reapply yolo. not conversion? biggrin.gif
*
Yup, some CS really not prepared. During my conversion request to YOLO, the CS ask me if I wanted Visa or Master. Surprised and ask him the difference while I quickly checked our first page. At the end, the CS said no option to select.

And the print of the credit card number, looks like will fade in no time sweat.gif

Btw, all YOLO cards are Platinum Visa?
*
Guess the card designed for online purchase only and might not withstand physical swipes.

I got call to CS and told admin charge cannot waive. Actually plan to cancel just drag till today still no action.
*
I recently got my VOX admin fee waived. Transaction within calendar month but outside billing cycle. After several calls and emails, finally got the waiver. Actually I requested for the T&C for VOX, they try to avoid giving me the document and finally just waived the fee plus gst. VOX cancelled but still can view online. Now pending transfer the RM6.36 credit to One card. Hopefully, UOB will not charge admin fee again...

Try to email them, I think the CS handling emails more competent and responsive.

Is it true that new UOB yolo card can only be collected from UOB branch? The CS told me they won't send credit card using courier service anymore, it has to be collected at the branch
*
I got mine through Pos Laju.

Just got my UOB platinum. Better stay with my Uob one card or use platinum?

Any advice?

Personally, One card is more useful. Almost exclusively use for petrol at BHP.

But isn't Platinum has 5% dining and 5% shop cb that One Card doesn't?

It seems like One card lack in that area. Where else Platinum has all the package covered including the all the smart points and UniRinggit (higher in that respective)
*
I do not recall Preferred Platinum having 5% cash backs.
Perhaps it is the 5X UNIRM for every RM1 spend for Dining, Groceries, Departmental Stores and Retail Fashion. valid till 31 March 2017.

For dining, I use HLB Mach, PBB VS or MBB Amex (weekends).

I was charged an annual fee of RM68 for UOB One credit card. And I called the call centre and the feedback is they cannot waive the charges. Anyone facing similar issues?
*
You can appeal.
If unsuccessful, you can ask for fee reduction. I got 50% off few years back (used card after AF charged).
Else, make card cancellation. The retention team might call you.
