As for IKEA, can't remember if there's any. Many time went to IKEA...  whistling.gif

For my scooter, there's none. I swipe based on on the road cash price. Nothing extra.

Most probable merchant specific whether to impose a processing fee or not. Have to ask first if it's worth it. Like when I bought my scooter, I've ask around a few bike shop. Some do charge 2%-4% processing fee. The shop that I bought didn't.

Called Maybank just now to activate my VS and M2Cards for overseas usage and the CS told me it is no longer needed for Maybank credit cards.

Alright saves one hassle for me. laugh.gif

What cc do you currently have? For me I stick to PBB VS if my hotel is less than RM833.

Also, one tip, you should compare the prices on desktop vs prices on mobile app. I booked last week and the difference was RM100 cheaper via mobile app, even after taking into account all discounts from going through the Cc desktop portal.

Maybankard 2 AMEX. Instant 7% rebate (room rate only) + 5x TP (at least 1.25% value).

**post edited to change the incorrect TP value

But try comparing the MBB Agoda website with mobile app as there can be price differences even after 7%.

Also, if you can wait, maybe book on first weekend of November so you can get the 5% weekend cashback. Highly likely to get compared to if you book during last weekend of October.

It's built into the redemption cost....the current points needed already includes the 6% gst....
