Hi everyone, i have one question here. I planning to buy some furniture in IKEA via Maybank ezyPay. However, i not sure how to apply for ezyPay. I cant find any related information in google.

Just tell the check out person, you want to do ezyPay. That's what I did nearly 2 years ago. Not sure now.

Similar method when I bought my scooter (RM6k) 20 months ago. Told the bike shop, I want 18month ezpay. Swipe, sign, pay monthly for 18 months. thumbup.gif Truly interest free. thumbup.gif

But will be charge 1-2% processing fees right?
I am gonna try too next month to buy bed set biggrin.gif
aw, sorry to hear that. I will note that down. Thanks!

As for IKEA, can't remember if there's any. Many time went to IKEA... whistling.gif

For my scooter, there's none. I swipe based on on the road cash price. Nothing extra.

2 previous experiences from ezpay, both from harvey norman. 1st time, bought a samsung tv, ezpay no processing fees. 2nd time, iphone 7+, with processing fees, 12 months - 2%, 24 months 4%, 36 months 6%.

Most probable merchant specific whether to impose a processing fee or not. Have to ask first if it's worth it. Like when I bought my scooter, I've ask around a few bike shop. Some do charge 2%-4% processing fee. The shop that I bought didn't.

maybe not.
mine was sent on Oct 11th
I didnt know anything until I check with Maybank Gardens
Collected my cards on Sunday
Today I received this SMS -
it could be that Maybank have some cheapo arrangements with Pos Laju. Instead of paying full price or whatever, they got Pos Laju to take up the whole consignment at a hugely discounted rate but Pos Laju need not deliver at a certain time, they may not even need to deliver. Maybe Pos Laju is supposed to just hold our cards for collection. In the end we blame Pos Laju, and they in turn blame Maybank.
*
If in my area, Pos Laju to be blame. So many time they didn't even come, yet the status on their tracking system - unsuccessful delivery. Never come at all.

Received this SMS too:
RM0.00 RM0 MBB: Your new PIN & Pay Card(s) is/are pending for collection at PPL Kuala Lumpur.Pls activate & set PIN via M2U or call 03-79490708.TQ

PPL Kuala Lumpur = Pos Laju Tun Sambathan? No tracking number also can take?

So many people that I know receive this kind of sms (including me). Sort of like Maybank want us the card holder to pick up our card by ourselves instead of being delivered to our address. whistling.gif hmm.gif

Can they just ask PosLaju to drop the card in our letter box. My Cherry Debit card was drop by PosLaju last week. Ok what. But CC cant? hmm.gif

Ya, me too.. I call up and asked mbb to ask poslaju to do mail drop for 2nd attempt. Finally received my card ytd via mail drop. Received the SMS on 27 Oct..

The one that irritates me is, there's no 'unsuccessful delivery notice' given. That mean, pos laju people never come. mad.gif

all of your situation are better than mine!

no SMS, no pos laju notice...

until i tweeted @MyMaybank on 1 Nov... the CS called me and asked me to check mail box...

and i check my mailbox, all my MBB CC cards inside!

checked the date it was posted 22 Oct... then a stamped to drop off in mail box on 1 Nov if no collection...

i was like WTF doh.gif

Haih, Maybank shouldn't use 'lazy' Pos Laju as their delivery mechanism. rclxub.gif Troublesome.

So many time Pos Laju didn't come to deliver many things at my address. Just change the status from out for delivery to unsuccessful delivery just like that.

Thank you. notworthy.gif

I guess Pos Laju got too many cards to deliver... so they just put it in the collection center and ask the customer to collect it themselves. doh.gif

They are making easy money out of this card replacement activities. Not delivering, saves cost, client have to pick up. vmad.gif

got a sms from maybank thats says delivery of the new pin and pay cards failed and asked me to call them to arrange new delivery

1) it says "your new cards are returned to maybank. please call the number on the back of the card for new delivery". i loled. no card there buddy. yeah i know i can call the number on the old cards, but cant they just put the number in the sms instead of sounding like an idiot?

2)  i never even received notice that a card was being sent to me. no notification from the couriers that i need to go collect either. so where did the "failure" occured?

3) called the platinum hotline...waited 5 mins for someone to answer, told them about the delivery failure. "oh...can't do anything there. i pass you to the dept in charge of deliveries". on hold for another 15 mins...fedup and hung up.

reading some of the threads here, it appears maybank have quite a high rate of delivery failure. anedoctally my own experience of cards with 3 other banks were exchanged without much drama.

really incompetent display by malaysia's largest bank  doh.gif

Most probably because they use Pos Laju - the most troublesome courier. whistling.gif Never attempt to deliver but in their system said 'unsuccessful delivery'. Happen so many time to me. Not just for Maybank CC delivery.
