Thank you for staying with Digi! Starting from your next bill, your Internet quota will be upgraded to 8GB/month at no extra cost!

Received this SMS, I'm currently in Contract with Digi, so good to upgrade from 6GB to 8GB ?? hmm.gif?

I also got sms from them upgrade to 6Gig from next bill. I am under contract too.

I am not sure how it will work because my basic quota is 3 gig + 2 gig special + 1 gig rollover.

Does this mean my basic quota will increase from 3 gig to 6 gig?

waiting dgboy to clarify...

Unlimited on 4G weekend to be precise, which is BS in my area or indoor. In Alor Setar and Puchong, as soon i get in my room, it's 3G or in borderline. I can't really utilize the weekend 4Gb freebie but they bump any days data to extra 5GB and upgrade weekend 4Gb from 20Gb to unlimited is a welcoming gesture nevertheless.

This might convince me to stay...

I just spoke to a Digi CS rep at a Digi Store. They say the current postpaid offerings are not subject to restrictions on VoIP calls.

Can any postpaid user here confirm they can make VoIP calls?

not blocked

Most postpaid plans come with free calls to local numbers anyway. It makes no difference for them to block or unblock VOIP.

But I am not sure if they would block VOIP in the lower tier postpaid plan that does not come with unlimited calls.

In business point of view, it makes sense to block VOIP for postpaid plan that does not come with unlimited calls, as it will encourage customers to upgrade to higher plans.

But so far not yet implemented. Unlikely too due to stiff competition among local telcos.

I am also at crossroad. Umobile P70 is the cheapest yet line stability and coverage are still huge challenges for them, Celcom Gold doesn't come with free SMS while Digi 80 got free SMS but 4g weekend quota is useless because my area only has digi 3g coverage (tried on prepaid). Maxis is way beyond my budget. Webe sounds good but there are a lot of comments on their speed and network stability too.

Well, if webe's network stability is your main concern, do note that they're roaming on Celcom's 3G network.

How do they fare against Celcom? Similar speed like Celcom or slower (throttled)?
