Changed from Maxis to Digi and it was a complete let-down. I am not certain Digi is having network issues or not. I could not have a data consistency for more than a minute. It been days now and i am in Alor Setar area. On iPhone 7+ apps keeps complaining no internet, it's on/off all the time, including the apps. Chat is impossible with Digi garbage. I have never experienced phone data behaves this way since stone age.

The weird thing is when it's off, i toggle data on/off on my iphone or reboot, the data will come back on immediately then the problem is back again!

I tested most the places, only one area with small window, one stair up my brother house corned room is usable. The data is always UP!! and can up for hours, day without problem. Which kinda explain It's not the phone's issue. The data is able to stay on phone when the signal is good?

Maxis may be expensive, but they are the best hand down. I may have to try Celcom next and ditch this stone age Digi network. It's a complete disaster.

Question, on digi post paid plan, can you port out immediately, will they put a penalty fine for post paid new account? or there's a time window one has to wait?

It was their Broadband plan that got me interested. Hence i switched and try out the phone line first, i dont want to drop contract on Broadband plan and got locked up on line not usable. Are you saying you are having connectivity issues on your phone but their broadband data is good?

And you can port out after 3 weeks on new account just fine right?

Well, think i figured out the problem. Turn off 4G and the data connectivity stays!

Watched NFL game today at my bro place so i can get the internet (how sad), it was impossible to use Digi in my place. To conserve the data, i turned off 4G and forgot to turn it off when i get home. To my surprise, all the apps i use and net browser, never once it complains about No connectivity. Yes, 3G slower but it works.

I guess Digi 4G is badly congested to boiling point in my area. That means i essentially paying $110 for 20GB alone as i could not use the other 20GB 4G data. LOL.

Guess i wait till the one month grace period and port the hell out of Digi and BTW, their social media supports is shitty too compare to Maxis. Maxis always reply within an hour wherever i asked, any questions and with Digi, at least 24 hours, and days, that's after i drop some meant words on them. Digi is now on my bucket list of the Telco that sucks!

Enjoys it!

At my bro place, i am getting about average 20+, and up to 60+. It's just few street aways from me, but the window is small to get that speed. Down stair, it's like my home, unusable. Too bad, i really do like their plan where i can add BB in the mix.

Just talked to Digi Rep and she said any adv payment will not be return when porting out. So i guess the one month grace period is just for that?

I'm near town, Jalan Pegawai near the Private Keat hwa High school Taman. Just FYi, since i turn off 4G, no more connectivity issues.

I wish Unifi or any fiber options are available in my area. I don't mind paying top dollar for 500MB. Shot, just the 30MB option would make me happy. I am a heavy user, got used to download goodies in the range of 1/2 TB per month in the past. I could blow my 20/20Gb in matter of days but now have to be real careful. ha! At presence, i am looking at paying TM 8MB streamyx then perhaps adding celcom 60GB option, that's already $300 a month! enough to pay for TM 500MB fiber!

I prefer Traffic Monitor app which have both cell and wifi data usage in much detail and in real time sum and speed while the Data Manager is better showing usage in much pleasing graphic presentation. The former is more practical while tethering cell data to my computer/iPad, especially on a game day, one NFL live game would cost me 6GB!! Can't let the 4G runs wild. After trying a few data monitor apps, i ended with just one - Traffic Monitor.

For Mac user, Bandwidth + free OSX app also has a very neat widget tool app which showing real time data usage on tool bar on each data source connections, very useful when you tapping data from your cell.

Thinking to try out Celcom 60Gb all day plan. Anyone or U know Celcom is any goods in Alor Setar area? If i can get great 3GB coverage, i would be very happy. Since the half 4G data on my Digi plan in my area is a toast anyway

About your area, I never really had any issues when going to that area, 4G speed test was pretty good, however I am talking about the shop lots. I'll be sure to do speediest more often there and check  smile.gif

Weird, is stream live video free or i miss something? I watched a good two hours of NFL live game this morning on my ipad though tethering, which would sum up about 4GB of data normally but none of it showing up in usage. Usually i would put on 6GB on a full 3 hours + for a game in 4G but to conserve data, i skip a quarter and all the commercials then use 3G only. My iPad monitor app is showing 1.9GB of data burned but it's not indexed in Digi at all.

Just noticed the Post Paid Plan on the web site for 110 option now has increase to 25GB any day plus Unlimited weekend.

Anyone know when Digi will update existing user with 110 plan to new quota?

Unlimited on 4G weekend to be precise, which is BS in my area or indoor. In Alor Setar and Puchong, as soon i get in my room, it's 3G or in borderline. I can't really utilize the weekend 4Gb freebie but they bump any days data to extra 5GB and upgrade weekend 4Gb from 20Gb to unlimited is a welcoming gesture nevertheless.

This might convince me to stay...

Can log in both web and mobile app now, but error out on web. My PP 110 plan got the same deal! I hope Maxis respond and compete with Digi new quota plan. Data war round 2!!

I think someone here mentioned the Digi sale person told him the *unlimited weekend data is not limited to 4G, 3G will be fine too...

Well, what do you know, i just download 300MB of goodies with 3G data and it's using the weekend quota. That's great! hope they keep it that way and i shall keep my Digi.

I have 110 plan. Total of hotspot 1.1GB downloaded, my 25GB All day and 3G rollover untouched, only the 4G weekend data missing a Gig. smile.gif It's legit so far and I'm delighted. In two locations - Puchong and Alor Star, i can't get 4G inside the houses, i was going to flip since i could not utilize the free 4G data but this changes my mind...

I also experienced a "free" video stream over 2-3GB of game streaming during one week day, i am not sure what went on, may be they have glitches in their system. It could come back as they are advertising Unlimited 4G data only! who knows.

That's just typical Digi customer service when it comes to getting back to customer. You could ask them a simple question on emails, Digi forum or social media and half the time u get no reply. The other half? at least 24 hours, days to week. 2-3 days is the norm. They are just a freaking loser in customer service. My experience with Maxis is another story, always within an hour, sometime minutes.

Got a text from Digi, Free Roaming in Thailand with 5GB data and 60 mins call per month. Get it now at digi store before 31/12.

What's the deal with the deal? absolutely free? no catch? free for life?

when i first signed up, i was having issue with 4G but 3G was fine and getting consistent 6-8Mbps and over. I was going to drop it since the Free 4G data doesn't benefit me but right now they are letting 3G into free weekend data so it's all good. If you are fine with 3G in your area, try turn off 4G and see it works for you. I just used ~40GB of free weekend data in 3G in couple days - can't complaint when the other option is piece of crappy 8Mbps streamyx operates at 2M-4Mbps actual download speed. In contrast, Digi actual download speed gets me around 6Mbps-15Mbps with 3G.

Just notice the weekend quota not longer mentioned "100GB" on the web portal. While the mobile app still does, but the summary not longer adding weekend usage to the total.

Anyone on 110 plan finish the 100GB can verify if the system throttle or cap the speed?

Hopefully they do and in transition, i still don't see 999GB weekend quota on mine yet, like others have. I have shoot a question on false advertising over 100GB cap vs weekend unlimited to Digi facebook, hope they would clarify the plan but no reply, which i kinda expect - these guys hardly reply anything.
