I like the new postpaid plans' Border Roaming plan: when in Singapore can use 5GB and 60 mins call at RM5 for one month.

QUOTE(neikichi @ Oct 12 2016, 10:01 PM) I just switched from old digi 80 to the new one 20gb, only to realise there's no longer unlimited music freedom, unlimited whatsapp, and the promo for 8gb rm10 add-ons also no longer available. Kinda disappointing not having all the perks from previous plan when it's he same price. What Internet add-ons are available for these new plans? |

I just bought a Best Prepaid to test. Certainly 4G has improved in my house since I ported out in June. No danger of falling to H now. Strange thing is now Band 3 and Band 7 LTE at my place has the same cell ID. Maybe it's the carrier aggregation they were talking about.
Anyway I've grown so accustomed to the flexibility of prepaid (I don't subscribe to internet passes all the time), I might end up staying with Hotlink for my main line. But I might just take up Digi Broadband at year end. Anyone know a good LTE Advanced USB modem? Off-topic, Unifi is finally available in my neighbourhood; someone is offering RM199 for a 30Mbps line. |

Another option I'm considering, maybe I could subscribe to Postpaid 110 and then have a 2nd SIM (@ RM10) to use as Wireless Broadband at home.
But have to wait for my Celcom First Gold Internet to finish contract. |

QUOTE(Zaryl @ Oct 14 2016, 11:26 PM) sorry but i thought Celcom First gold internet is contract-less? Mine came with PortaWiFi, so 1 year contract.i just terminated it last week. Been using it since this April. so far i don't find it attractive. 6gb anytime data + 4GB separated on weekends + 12GB 1-7am. |

QUOTE(Maxieos @ Oct 17 2016, 08:48 PM) Sorry my mistake , maybe it's RM38 last year. But I remember few years ago really RM 30 only. All those Best versions in that chart are now legacy plans in that you can't sign up to these plans anymore. They are only of interest for those who still hold on to them. Now all plan v1234 having RM38 but really confusing , I search online and get this chart result.Does digi changed them recently ? ![]() http://community.digi.com.my/t5/Prepaid/Su...Life/ta-p/13004 If you want a new Best Prepaid account or upgrade/port in from another plan right now, you will get Digi Best Prepaid 2016. |

Music Freedom never included YouTube, even in the old plans, as far as I can remember.

QUOTE(Maxieos @ Oct 19 2016, 04:21 PM) Is it true with free 500mb every month ??? but can 56kbs enough for any VOIP to someone like whatapps recording and whatapps/skype called ? This is what is called Basic Internet. It's good enough for instant messaging and light browsing (use Opera Mini to surf Lowyat.net for instance) but 56kbps is definitely not adequate for VOIP.Thanks |

QUOTE(cranx @ Oct 19 2016, 02:16 PM) RM80 for 20GB + roamborder free until dec 2017, is that correct? roamBorder is not free for Postpaid 80.one utama can sign up for this plan? It is RM5 a month until Dec 2017 if you activate before 1 Dec 2016. If you activate on or after 1 Dec, then it's RM30 a month. |

Those newer phones which support both Band 3 and 7 LTE will always give priority to the higher frequency band (because higher throughput) even though typically Band 7 will have weaker signal (less penetration). And Digi typically, but not always, has weaker 4G signal than Maxis. |

QUOTE(pwf @ Oct 20 2016, 11:34 AM) Anybody have subcribe to their crossborder plan? When you're back in Malaysia, you better walk into a Digi Store and make a personal complaint.I have subscribe to roamboarder roaming plan, which suppose to work with Starhub Singapore. I have received email and sms confirmation that I have already successfully subscribe to this plan. Yesterday, when I try to use the data in Singapore, I have ensure that my roaming network is locked to Starhub only. To my surprise, I was being charged for the RM38 per day roaming and when I try to check my data, it say I have no roaming plan. Even mydigi apps does not show any data for roaming and when I check the plan i Subscribe to, roamborder roaming plan is there. So what is happening? |
