Quick update: I called up to the customer service earlier, and was told I got some penny cashback from my cancelled FCB card so they are helping to transfer it to my Amex card.

Any idea how long it takes for the transfer to complete?

I just did the call for my FCB. Was told it takes about 8 working days, which is quite long considering it is to my MBB CASA. And I will have to call again to cancel the card after the transfer is done.

When is your SST due? I got no choice but to cancel my card first because the SST kick in this month. I can see my Amex card got charged.

In April. I have some amount inside due to BT leftover. So decided not to wait any longer.

If early settlement BT got penalty?

The BT is for BT to Affin, so as long as MBB get the payment they ate happy 😃. I didn’t check the T&C for the Affin BT about this though.

anyone have tips on how to get back charged SST from Maybank when canceling card? according to the bank's policy, all charged SST will not be able to refund even cancelling the card for credit card that apply after the implementation of SST by customs

Oh means you pay off maybank ady? Then no problem ady.

He's using BT from Affin to pay off Maybank outstanding by transferring Maybank outstanding into 12-month 0% BT plan by Affin.
