not able to use samsung pay for transaction more than RM250 today, got an sms saying i have exceeded my "cumulative contactless transaction amount limit" and asked me to call CS to increase the limit. but CS is unsure and unable to really explain the sms and why my transaction can't go through.

previously i was able to use samsung pay on my 2kard visa for transaction more than RM250. i just need to enter the PIN after i tap my phone.

i was under the impression that it should be same as visa paywave where transaction below RM250 does not need a PIN and more than RM250 needs to wave + PIN.

CS got back to me with a clearer explanation. and yes, the limit is RM250 and can be lowered but not increased beyond RM250.

but then, from visa's website, notice the part for transaction above RM250.



this wave and PIN works for my visa 2kard, but not on my barcelona card. both attempts using samsung pay.

anyway, shall try to attempt again.

probably the fcb vs card is too new

Came home and found a letter in my mailbox. Received my FCB VS. Approval SMS received on Thursday, so two working days to receive it.

Received my approval SMS last Saturday, should be getting it tomorrow

I have no problem to use for 2k transaction

today only i received the PIN for the card. but still not physical card received? did u guys receive both at the same time? or one by another? if yes, which one u receive first? PIN or card?

If I apply any maybank CC card, then get rejected.
Do I need to wait for how long before can re-apply again?

I applied for the FC Barcelona VISA Signature credit card at The Gardens yesterday afternoon. Received an SMS that my application has been approved around 2pm today. Then I received a call from Maybankard Centre The Gardens to collect my credit card after 6pm. So basically it took just 1 working day to get everything done. Overall quite efficient. But as the credit card was approved just today, I am still unable to activate the credit card. I was told I can only activate the credit card and to set the PIN for this credit card tomorrow.
