QUOTE(vez @ Jun 29 2021, 01:17 PM) PoisonSoul if can use in normal credit card terminal, you can write a thorough guide applying Wise card Here? But I was lost on step 1 and 2 as per I said. Maybe I did put a fake SG address at that time.seems easier way... to use Apple Pay in Malaysia QUOTE(PoisonSoul @ Jun 28 2021, 08:20 PM) Tbh, I can't remember the steps how I apply it because I did it in 2 separate times. Let me list it down. 1) Open an account and directly set SG as your default country. You can use the app or the website. Doesn't matter. This is where I stopped last time. So I COULD be wrong that I set up as SG last time. You can change it in your account anytime later anyways. 2) After opening the account, apply for the Wise card via Account tab. If you have verified yourself before, your account is locked to that country already. So go open another account. *If you do not see any card in the Account tab, tap on your picture -> Edit your details -> Change to SG. Address just put Malaysian address. Only the country set to SG.* 3) It will ask you to verify yourself with gov documents. I just yolo and sent them picture of me and my IC. Yeap, you read that right, I opened an SG account and verified myself with my Malaysian IC. 4) After approval, you will need to pay 10 SGD for the card and delivery. I just pay lo. 10SGD is cheaper than getting the N26 all the way from EU via TipTrans. 5) Once you pay for it, you can add the card into Apple Pay already. Don't need wait for physical card. Do note that the payment of 10SGD could be BEFORE the verification. I can't remember as I was just rushing through it. So yeah, I'm currently waiting for the card to arrive. Applied on the 16 June if you are wondering. App promised 18 June to arrive (probably the app think's it's an SG address) but I haven't get mine till date. |

QUOTE(amoxacilin @ Jul 1 2021, 01:40 PM) It means that if you use either bank's credit card to charge TransferWise/Wise, banks will label it as Cash Advance which will incur a 5% interest on your balance every day.Day 1: RM100 charge by TransferWise, bank add 5%. Total you owe the bank today RM105. Day 2: RM105 x 105% = RM110.25 Day 3: RM110.25 x 105% = RM115.76 Day 4: RM115.76 x 105% = RM121.55 |
