usually transit-oriented card readers can choose to locally store the card info, put a hold on the amount first and then at midnight only deduct the actual amount. also they the readers might be connected to ethernet or 4G, which allows for faster processing. the one in stores could be using 2G, so that is why they feel so slow lol

Weirdly, MAS only supports adding boarding passes to Apple Wallet, but not the digital enrich card doh.gif

Yo bro, I've been searching high and low for this option for my MAS flight last weekend. Can you elaborate more?

Btw, Wise AP support came in perfectly in time for me to use in NZ. The Kiwis eyeballs went wide open when they saw me paying for groceries with my Apple Watch hahahah

Most major airlines (SIA, Emirates, Qatar, Cathay etc): you can add both your digital airline loyalty card and the boarding pass into Apple Wallet

MAS: you can only add your boarding pass into Apple Wallet doh.gif

Ya lo.
Given that quite a number of users already using the TnG eWallet Visa card.
Would be even good if supported by Apple Pay or Google Pay.
