Not sure if this Apple Pay mention was there before this. Clicking on it, it tells me to add cards/keys/etc using “add to wallet”

Yes it has been there before this, since 2021 afaik it has showed add card.

So far everything is just speculation, but Tiger, Octopus, AM, SCB apparently are supported, CC/DC not sure yet so..

just flash of thought, despite Apple Pay is launched, i think there will be equally usage of Apple Pay and e-wallet, having said that now e-wallet seems to be more commonly accepted and broadly use in retail, chances of using e-wallet is still higher than Apple Pay

its not an apple to apple comparison tho (pun intended), because ApplePay is technically just using your credit card (or debit card, if supported) and e-wallet is.... e-wallet

personally i use CC whenever possible, and e-wallet with smaller merchant. so the use case is pretty different.

After Apple announces tomorrow, we welcome all of you to update which bank supports Apple payment. include Visa, master or Amex? Or debit, credit or prepaid card?
