Oh really ?? I was thinking to book this hotel for BKK trip in June.

I was booking for Pathumwan Princess hotel in this coming May

So far been stayed for few hotels nearby Platinum Mall, the most comfortable is Ameri Watergate hotel in term of environment, services & location

- Ameri Watergate Bangkok
- Grand diamond suites Pratunam
- Novotel Bangkok hotel
- Centara Watergate Pavillion hotel Bangkok

Planning to stay at S Box Sukhumvit, near to BTS only, rooms are quite small but i think it's enough for 2 ppl since we are going to be outside most of the time and only sleep during the night

By the way is it better to change Baht in Malaysia or there? I heard the rates are better in Thailand

You might want to consider Matchbox Bangkok too if want to keep your budget to a minimum. I personally stayed there before with another 3 friends. They have dorm beds, as well as double bed and the place is quite spacious. Located at Sukhumvit road 33, accessible through BTS Phrom Phong station, 5-10 minutes walk. That area covered with many high end shopping malls, so don't worry you cannot find places to shop. laugh.gif Less than 5 station to the main shopper attraction; Central World, Siam Paragon, Siam Square, Platinum fashion mall, etc.

JJ Green Night Market? It open from Thursday to Sunday. Thursday night some shops might not open. Strongly recommend to visit on Saturday and Sunday.
