I'm planning to take vietnam airline to Seoul and there's a layover of 20+ in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh airport.

Does anyone know whether I could leave the airport and check into a hotel near the airport?

On top of that, I'm planning to visit Jeju island for 5 days 4 nights.

Any recommendation on which part of Jeju to stay?
Planning to rent a car and the Jeju trip is 3rd week of December.
Is it snowing by then?

I'm trying to apply for K-ETA now for my trip in December. I read that K-ETA is valid for 2 years.

While trying to fill up the info, it's asking to key in the Surname and Given Name in the passport.

Since that Malaysia password do not have any Surname, should I click the "Unknown" button for Surname and key in my full name under "Given Name".

Advice would be appreciated.

How is the Digi roaming in South Korea? I wasn't planning to get an extra sim card.

I've emailed to the Korean Embassy and was informed that we should put our Full Name listed in the passport in the "Given Name" of the E-KTA application.

I've also submitted and was approved. Submitted on Sunday night and got the approval a few hours later. Super fast. I thought the approval would take 72 hours.

I think Digi is roaming partner in Korea is SK Telekom. SK Telekom is largest telco in Korea so I think it should be fine.

Bought the air ticket rushly due to a girl rushing for Matta fair promo and now a group of 4 person taking MAS & AA for same day.
Honestly its better to make it land in Seoul and travel downwards..can fly off from Busan or Jeju.

2. buying arex express ticket from klook/kkday is no longer worth it, it's now RM31

17 and below and 65 and above no need K-ETA, just need to fill in the immigration form at the airport before going through immigration

u can of course apply but not worth paying the RM37...that money is better spent on a meal
