Accords are more of cruisers rather than sprinters. Long relaxed gear ratios makes it feel "slow". Earth dreams N/A 2.4 is much improved over the K series 2.4 in terms of low end torque and feel although it will not match the low end grunt of the turbo 1.5T. Civic is more fun to drive but Accord is better suited for passengers

Civic 1.5T indeed more powerful than accord 2.4 & can feel the diff. Accord is 250kg heavier and max torque only achieve at 4000rpm.

In US the 1.5T 174hp civic drag race 0-60mph can even beat Civic SI 2.4 with 205hp not to say the heavier accord with only 175hp.

Power delivery in Turbo is always better than N/A especially the max torque from 1700-5500rpm

actually... i think the power is very similar and i can confirm on pick up the accord gets away a tad quicker than the civic.. guess its a little more responsive.

i drive home with a colleague who drives an accord 2.4 cuz we take the same route home.

his always inches away quicker than me in start stop traffic .. den the turbo kicks in... i close the gap... i reach traffic light... repeat..

then i tell myself... my civic is not a GTI.

wat about accord 2.0 vs civic 1.8? accord more powerful?

btw, for a same car running at 50 kmh at 1500rpm and 100 kmh at 1500rpm too, does it give the same fuel consumption and stress to the engine?

Hi guys
I just got a hdmi cable for my iphone. I plugged in the hdmi end to the car hdmi port and the usb end to the usb port. Then when i connect my phone and try to airplay but it cannot detect my phone.

Any idea?
