QUOTE(shinchan^^ @ Sep 30 2016, 05:27 PM) Actually is satin, not really matte but definitely not glossy. I'm preventing dust builds up especially the surface is not slippery. I'm trying to keep as tidy as possible, since isr put the car pic at first page, can't afford to show bad example. |

QUOTE(PixelDroid @ Oct 13 2016, 03:12 PM) I'm not too sure (coz I haven't really explore the car's features yet) .. but it could be that you've moved away from the door too fast/soon. like hihihehe mentioned, situational explain was mentioned in first post. It wasn't issue, it is a feature. When u heard beep x3 the car is trying to tell u the auto walk away lock is not going to engage due to the pattern u exit the car is different. So usually you can just open and close the door again. 1 beep, the auto walk away will engage, if 3 beeps then u have to manually lock the car. Must remain at the door and you'll hear a beep within a second after closing. Then move away. |

QUOTE(GeekinE90 @ Oct 14 2016, 11:32 AM) The conti that holds value best are Mercs. BMW is notorious for killing the resale value to get the sales numbers up with "pre-reg" promos. Over the years, I feel that the BMW brand has lost it's appeal and shine compared to Mercedes. Today, if I were to choose between an AMG Mercedes or M BMW equivalent, I'll take the AMG! More more daring, exclusive and exciting. Mercs started to venture into younger crowd and making more aggressive yet refine benz no surprise they hold value for their cars. One of my friend working in Merc, so jelly he got to try all sort of benz, i only get to try the A250 once. Been eyeing on CLA since they introduce it. Well... at the end for me it's okay la civic still best. |

Just a little follow-up for fellow owners here on our HU which running on android 4.2.2, Still no good news. I try to dig around our HU android in xda experts, there is still no way to root it even after 1 year the civic releases in the States. No custom software to by pass this thing, still Y-cable by pass mod is the only way for work around. Some claimed they can make the HU able to play video even when the car is moving by fiddling with the honda secret menu, but it requires tricky procedure and need to do so with every car ignition which i figure no point trying. Cheers

QUOTE(Nick Zelos @ Oct 25 2016, 02:44 PM) I have installed Android Auto APK on my phone but it doesn't seem to work with the car, supposedly it should work right? There are 2 most possible cause, cable or phone compatibility. Not much i can help to trouble shoot, but try swapping cables, sometimes the most cheapo cable works and the factory provided cable doesn't.Here is what i know from reading this forum. Phone that confirm working: nexus 5x, nexus 5, nexus 6p Phone that i've tested not working: samsung s4(korean version), xiao mi note 3 (china version) Also make sure that your phone is running Android 5.0 and above. Because of civic X, i went to the extend of changing phone so that my andriod auto is working with 0 issue. |

Red Label: Honda Civic Type R Prototype Interior Looks Ready for Takeoff copy pasta from Car & Driver
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE In Honda World, red isn’t just another color. The red Honda badge is reserved for only its highest level of performance vehicles known as Type R. Throughout decades of automaking, Honda has applied the R only to a select few cars, the NSX, the Integra, and the Civic being the most memorable. The Civic has had the longest run of them all, but there’s one major problem: It’s never been to America. The Integra Type R is the only one we’ve had, and that hasn’t been around since 2001. Thankfully, that’s about to change. After years of clamoring for more hot-hatch goodness, enthusiasts in the United States are finally getting the Honda they desire. At the Paris auto show last month, the Civic Type R prototype was unveiled in all its winged, scooped, and kitted glory. With all the attention surrounding the carbon fiber, the spoilers, the triple exhaust, and the 20-inch wheels, not many people seemed to take notice of the interior. A website called Leblogauto, however, managed to open the prototype’s doors and take some photos. |

QUOTE(tayman @ Nov 3 2016, 02:26 PM) Do anyone wax your car instead spending on coating? Mind to share any product you used? thank you a lot kura-kura wax. Spray bottle one for easy application after every wash. Application period: once-twice a week. You should apply wax often like how girl apply bb-cream or sun cream or body lotion . |
