After 1 week of driving 1.8S, i feel weird why my fuel consumption is around 6km/l... It is not even half of what you guys did, i admit i'm heavy footed since the beginning of few days, but I did drive slow for the remaining few days. And I cant stand the aircond in every morning, it is too cold even set at lowest, I'm shivering until i reached my office everyday. When I press auto for aircond, it is forever max no matter cold or hot day, seems like sensor broken. sad.gif

FC depends a LOT on your commute. Lots of traffic jams and very short trips will kill your FC. Yes, wait till your car passes at least 1-2k KMS on the ODO and try to take it out on a cruise one weekend out of town.

Today go Sc complaint about door paint defect, SC people help me take picture and send to HM to make claim but they cant guarantee can success.
HHmm, at least they try to claim for me, better than my SA direct say NO..
*
Btw, please do check with the SC how they are going to fix it if Honda approve for the claim? which portion they will repaint, repaint the whole door or just that small portion? Is better to repaint the whole door.

If they only repaint the small portion, you might observe the color different in one or two years later if not mistaken and will be more obvious for white color. This is something I have been told by my sales agent last time as my car is having overspray issue at the fuel cap area, but is hardly notice unless with certain angles.
Good luck bro!

question for TCP owners....

got friend thinking of choosing between TCP and TC...

reason is because there's no physical fan speed knob for the TCP. but he likes the LED headlights.

want to know from current owners if it is annoying to go into the menu to adjust your fan speed? or you just "Auto" all the way?
*
Auto all the way.. l do miss the physical switch/knob/slide.. but wat to do..

Also add uphill drives..
Contrary to wat l thought, you cannot balance out the FC by going downhill once you reach the top..

Once it reaches the desired temperature, it will automatically reduce the fan speed.

Most of the 1.5T here are getting less than your 1.8 FC if only do 100% city drive

Well... In all honesty, my wife use the car to pick up my kids which is a fuel guzzler as she'll be waiting in the car with the ac running. Over the weekend, we drive it a little long distance to either Klang or something like that...

But averagely, per tank (2nd tank) is about 13-14km/l.

The 18km/l was done in the city driving to Klang on a weekend biggrin.gif

Impressive. I think most of the time I only cann get 10-11km/l even though the rpm keep under 2.5 and econ mode on all the time. Not sure how you guy achieve those.

Not always adjusting fan speed, not a prob for me. I seldom go beyond 4 bar and adjust the temp if needed.

Constant speed. Try on clear road where you can do 90 - 110km/h for some distance. You will get that number even without econ.

What is the real benefit of the eco button?

Btw, just discuss with SC in detail what is the best solution. Which approach is best for long term. Because original paint spray work is done by machine. The repaint work will be done by human hand, definitely can not be 100% same outcome.
