HTC SC in Berjaya Times Square is very very terrible. Superbly tiny SC with only 2 counters open servicing the entire Klang Valley.

Poor strategy by HTC distributor in Malaysia.

Digital mall. Went there for 3 times. One unpleasant. One good. One ok.

For Samsung. Avoid Sunway pyramid as no one picks the phone probably due to too much people. One utama never bordered kinda feels lazy to me.

You do have a point in there, my friend. And yes, it's their own call. We certainly cannot control it. But sadly to say, we can't say the same thing to the people who are surrounding the user. It's like smoking. People who smoke know that it would harm their own healthy. They could say it's their own business. But do they realize their smoking would actually affect other people's healthy as well?

I am not trying to condemn those people who is still using the defective phone. I am saying that how many people would actually concern about other people safety while he/she decided to not to shut down the phone? Let say if the phone you are using is catching fire or exploding suddenly. You may get shocked or get injured. Yes, it's your problem and you are willing to take it sicne you already said you would bear the consequences. But can you ensure that it won't affect those people who are surrounding you at that particular moment? Can you take the responsibility to take care of other's compensation if the incident does affect them? This question is worth to think about..

The question in here is not why you want to risk your life. The most important question is why you would want to risk other people life. That's how I look at this case.

And again, this is just my personal opinion. Feel free to discuss.

No worries, when that happen they can always blame Samsung and sue Samsung,although Samsung already advise them to turn off the phone until the replacement, but in fact it was caused by the stubbornness and dumbness of the users themselves.

Most of SC in KL for Asus is not so good. Even their customer service at Lowyat is worse. 1 week to solve a software problem. Anyway not all SC is bad. I hope the SC in KL solve this problem. Give a bad image to Asus.

you're right mate, is good to have such good intent. but in the end, does it really makes a difference? unfortunately, no. especially in this forum where it just hold probably small portion of the pre-order units. rest assured, malaysian mentality are pretty much kiasi, so they're truly aware on what would be the best options to do. thus, there's no explosion report so far. keep finger crossed.

and on the same time, kindly enlighten me, or i am confused on the fanboyism, one is coming over note 7 thread, and saying apple goodness, and claim others who're replying on note 7 owners / propects is really fanboy. sorry? keep those memes, and hate at bay. but if you're able to share negative sentiment with constructive comments & sources, please feel free. just my 2cents.

Well, I can't say for the others, but that's what I am doing right now, by sharing the latest news and information from around the world. Unfortunately, not everyone in here like to see the way I am doing it (I was just posting the links only btw), plus they don't like to see those negative news, so they are questioning about my motives. Anyway, The wise man knows he knows nothing, the fool thinks he knows all. At least I know some people including a mod do appreciate my sharings, that's enough. So I will continue.

HTC SC in Malaysia is being outsourced to third party. Hence the service quality is bad but they are improving.
However HTC service centre in Singapore and Taiwan is extremely good, perhaps better than Samsung. They even call you how was the phone functioning after repaired for more than a month. Really top notch service quality.

Actually high possible, especially those shop that grab the units and they just don't care and probably not do return.

One of the shop at JB still have 2 units seal Note7 put on selling.

Android always much flexible, that why I still want to keep one Android phone even I buy iPhone. Haha!
