I make a mistake of applying a PBB mastercard debit. Can I use this card to verify my paypal?

You guys mention about 'limits' if you are not verified. What is this limit actually? I have funds in my paypal (and I'm not verified), can I use it to pay my ebay?

There's a PBB mastercard debit? You can still use it to verify your paypal account, but if you want to withdraw funds from your paypal account, you must do it with a visa credit or debit card.

The limit is something like...sending and receiving up to USD1,000. After that you'll need to verify your card with paypal. I'm not sure about the amount, you'd do well to check it yourself. If your paypal account's unverified then just click on the link in your main page, it's there.

They will simply block your account. So better off do the verification first or maybe later if blocked you need to fax them your identification card, passport, utilities bill etc. to re-enable the account.

Can you tell me what is the limit? cry.gif
How long they can give you the chance until you'll be able to verified it?

I just bought some paypal funds from other LYN member (cumicumi5) to pay for my ebay. I'm an unverified member. I can receive funds transfered from his paypal into my paypal. And then successfully pay for my ebay item. No problem.

I guess the 'limit' they are mentioning is amount send limit. Click on your 'view limit' beside your account balance to know some of it.

I've created a fake account two years ago (for test purposes). Unverified. They didn't block it, so don't worry and be happy.

It doesn't actually...just put in your card details and paypal will do the rest. Then when you get your credit/debit card statement, key the code in and you're verified.

Thing about unverified accounts is, if you're planning to use it for long-term sooner or later you'll reach the limit. Then you have to verify it also. So why not just verify it earlier?

Hi... I'm back with more questions.
Well, it seems that Maybank also offer Debit Card and it also have that "VISA" logo with it.
Just want to hear your opinions...
Do you think Debit Card by Maybank can be accepted by Paypal for verified? blink.gif

Go to the Finance forum and check out the debit card thread. There have been plenty of reports of Maybank Visa Debit card not usable for online transcations.

NO for MBB Debit Card!.IF you want to know whether the rest of the banks' debit or credit card allow online transaction, it is best to check with the respective bank. As far as I know, PBB VISA Debit card allow Pay Pal verification, online transaction & to withdraw fund from Pay Pal.

For Malaysian paypal accounts, if you haven't verify, you can't recv any funds.
I tried it before, the seller sent to me but I couldn't accept it. Only after adding a CC, then only I could receive.

Well, if you have credit or debit card added to your pay pal, you don't need to buy funds right. You just pay your seller wither with debit or credit card.
