Doomday, this is the correct way of doing it.

1. Get a NexG card from authorised dealer or AMBank itself.

2. Take it home, open it, there is a form inside. Fill the form and take a photostate IC of yourself ( Front and Back in a pages ).

3. Send both of them thru fax ( faster processing day ) or deliver it by mail if you don't have fax machine which might take longer.

4. If by fax, in 3 working days or 7 working days? rclxub.gif well sorry i can't recall, you will need to contact them to activate your card.

5. Voila~! Your card is activated, but you still doesn't have the PIN number which will take 3 weeks to deliver from your activation days. That PIN number are needed to do online registration or ATM withdrawal.

6. Ignore that first, now add the card into your Paypal, and after all the verification, it will need you to verify 4 numbers which will appear in your bill statement. Since it is international transaction, it will take awhile to go into your bill list. After it went in, it will write something like PAYPALLTD1234 in your bill statement. Just take the 1234 and key it in into your Paypal verification debit card there.

7. Be noted, that the Bill Statement ONLY can be viewed ONLINE or you will need to request it by mail which you have to pay extra. In order to do this both, your PIN number are needed for Online Transaction. Hopefully this information is enough to help ya!

Thanks for those info... I believe it could benefits others too..

My NexG card was activated and I tried add it as credit card in paypal after deposit some amount in it. Surprisingly, it was added at 1st try. I tried to send out money to other people by auto-money-deduction from my NexG card and it doesn't work. So I removed the card and try re-add again. Then it was failed...

I added other Mastercard, and it doesn't have any problems with it.

apparently it's a new feature. but the withdraw can only be done with a visa debit/credit card. since nextg is a master card, it's out of the question i guess. i wonder which bank provide visa debit cards here in malaysia...

can ask Q's?

if we buy something from ebay and we pay eg: 100$ to the seller(using paypal fund), does paypal charge us with the transection fees?

if we sell something on ebay eg: 100$. the buyer pays us 100$. do we get the exact amount of 100$ or does paypal charge us with tansection fees also?

if we buy something from ebay n we pay eg:100$ to the seller (using debit card because paypal fund inside acc not enuf etc), does the bank or paypal charge us with transaction fees?

@hibiki

Only the sellers get hit with the transaction fees, which is a rip off =/

If you're paying using debit/credit card, you may be charged an administrative fee by your bank, depending on your bank's policy

1. Depends on bank. I use HSBC and I haven't noticed any admin charges except for currency conversion.

2. $0.30 + 4-5% if you're a premium or business member.

General Tip: Its better to use your credit card for paypal payments than using paypal balance. WHY? Its definitely easier to initiate a chargeback than to launch a paypal dispute.

I always try to clear my balance so I can use my credit card tongue.gif

Added on October 22, 2007, 6:39 pmBtw for withdrawals, for small amounts better just sell in LYN, the $5 is a huge bite out of it.

Might as well sell it off to people who need it, like that you get to know someone new and also dun rugi.
