I see.. Mtk version all 3 components (earphone jack port, ir, and mic) are spread equally. Sd having the ir and mic close together to right side leaving empty gap in between..

surprisingly xiaomi approved my bootloader just in 2 days.

FInally flash my Redmi note 4x to global rom (India version). Phone info changed from 4x to 4 only. Doing great although i heard this global rom does not support LTE for the moment.

Using Global rom, LTE works fine.. unless there is a different global rom?

I just saw it at MIUI forum some stated that they could not connect to LTE just H+. Guess it works for Malaysia.

Just wondering, is there a huge difference between note 3 then the current note 4?

Hi guys, my friend is currently looking for a budget android phone and since I'm on redmi note 3 and very satisfied with it I have recommended my friend to go for RMN3/RMN4.

His concern is would MTK version of RMN4 have GPS inaccuracy problem? He relies on GPS heavily to navigate around so GPS is a main concern

Should he get RMN3 with SD650 instead? He's pretty liking this RMN4 tho

How much did you buy your RMN4 for? He needed this quite urgently so looking to buy it off satugadget @ 759 (3GB+32GB ROM)

SD and MTK got difference in network chip.

Note 4 MTK way faster than note 3 while note 4 sd625 very slow compared to note 3.

i've tried both umobile + webe sim cards together in RN4 MTK 3GB/64GB Global ROM.

dont have gps issue with rn4 mtk. surprisingly quite fast detecting gps though.

ok using the ori china leg charger n cable the charging speed is 48% in 60mins, much much better now.

yes, the ori charger+charger is exceptionally awesome when charging RN4.

does MTK variant cater 4G+ signal?

4G+ as in 4G Advance? or 4G with Carrier Aggregation (CA)?

4G advance, as i m also using Lenovo P2, when i switch my maxis sim card , its shows 4G+ but in RN4 it dors not show

this one, i am not sure. sometimes it depends on the phone's firmware when displaying the icon. it could be latching to 4G Advance signal but only display 4G icon.

only way is to test and compare the speed throughput.

same location: Lenovo P2 + Maxis @ 4G+ signal icon, note down the speed.
same location: RN4 + Maxis 4G signal icon, note down the speed.

if RN4 speed can achieve similar throughout as from Lenovo P2, then most likely RN4 can accept 4G Advance signal.
