didnt unlock. just flash to official global rom V8.0.4.0 MBFMIDG

hmm, how do u define vendor rom?

mine from china mobile, consider vendor rom? sorry, no idea how to differentiate confused.gif

packaging everything with China Mobile branding, including china mobile etching behind the unit.

vendor ROM look like China ROM but full of advertisement (virus). Got weird version also. Means 8.x.x is weird number. Not part of global/china rom.

after flashing to global rom.

1st run, if follow guide, it seems to be partial cuz the guide asked to tick "boot" and "system". didnt like it cuz got annoying "4G LTE" bootup logo. locale stucked at "China".

2nd run, from sp flash tool, jsut select ALL features to be flash. back to clean slate, no funny branding.

i brought it from a shop nearby my home. Unsealed unit but the device was new as front sticker still intact and the seller told they flashed global rom.

but with 2 sims, maxis + webe, both showing names.

Mine from gtronics too. Box no problem. Just that not sealed.
Noticed that gtronics got Note 4x dy. Same price

Mine charging less than 2 hours to full from 10 - 100

Normal for 5V 2A charging. Only QC 2.0 and above can charge finish in 1 hour.
