surprisingly xiaomi approved my bootloader just in 2 days.
FInally flash my Redmi note 4x to global rom (India version). Phone info changed from 4x to 4 only. Doing great although i heard this global rom does not support LTE for the moment.

QUOTE(futra @ Feb 25 2017, 11:26 PM) Using Global rom, LTE works fine.. unless there is a different global rom? [attachmentid=8525956] VoLTE as well. I have not put in my sim yet luckily i also using u-mobile hehe. I just saw it at MIUI forum some stated that they could not connect to LTE just H+. Guess it works for Malaysia.

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Feb 27 2017, 12:05 PM) X20 with A72 is more efficient than SD625. A72 is efficient core while A53 in SD625 is slow core. So what happen is SD625 is using 14nm process. So its more power saving because it is slow. SD625 take 10 minutes to do a task while X20 use 5 minutes. Although SD625 is power saving, but because it is slow, X20 more than make the power saving in SD625. In the end, both Note 4 X20 and Note 4X SD625 will last 1 day until you charge. Basically whether you want slow phone or fast phone, you decide. By saying 10 mins and 5 mins comparison is not entirely true my friend. Probably spec sheet u can say that. For me is more like a 10 and 8.5 mins differences. Users experience is all that matters. I am having 625 version and compared to my friend x20 . The speed of opening any apps or games is just slower by 10% plus minus. It won't even be noticeable unless you put side by side. The performance margin is not big. My personal reference of soc is always SD as I think it would last slot more longer. 3 years min. My 2 cents. Haha This post has been edited by GearX_SaM: Feb 27 2017, 03:30 PM

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Feb 27 2017, 04:07 PM) You can't compare (X20 vs SD625) with (X10 vs SD650). You actually can, but the story is reverse. X20 is way way better than SD625. X20 is 50% better than SD625 in terms of efficiency and performance in benchmark. AnTuTu:- X20 - 90k SD625 - 60k You're very uninformed if you still choose SD over MTK. Not everyone flash custom ROM. Therefore, source code not important. Again user experience is all is matters. Dude u can compare whatever spec you can based on paper. When put to use you will know the difference. On paper x20 definitely a win but normal usage wise I felt the same. Like I said before hand I compare both mine sd625 and my friend's x20 the difference is very small in terms of loading speed.

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Feb 27 2017, 05:10 PM) Loading does not tax processor a lot. Wait till you do more intense workload. X20 is flagship processor SD625 is low mid-end processor Please tell me what is intense load, is gaming consider? Like running mobile legend or Pokemon? If yes nope I don't see a vast difference at all. You are giving me all the paper spec again I believe both the thing u mention won't affect your daily usage and there are tentatively no difference . And btw I am connecting my 5ghz wifi via basis router. Does my phone support wireless ac? Or just wireles-N . Anyway it don't matter unless your internet speed is 1gb.
