Thanks for the info - didn't realise that it was only for messages sent via the MyPhoneExplorer software.

But its funny it doesn't record time and date of messages sent with the phone because how come it can record details of messages received?

Also, how come I only see 2 messages sent using the software but the counter shows 4 messages sent?

Weird - but nothing is perfect I guess. Lucky I haven't reinstalled yet. If not, wasted my time only Its a few minutes to reinstall but, time is precious mah!

Alienfighter, when you mentioned 3G here, do you use it or just enable 3G? For my case, my 3G is always on, I don't see it unless for sending a mms or two. Battery life is about 3 days plus with 20 mins of phone calls daily.


I think the price is quite stable now, my friend bought a K800i (Midland set) around RM1580 in Penang with 64mb M2, got free screen protector and handphone pouch (Hello Kitty one ). My friend is a girl so no problem with the Hello Kitty handphone pouch.

You can view them from Sony Ericsson Malaysia website, some games and applications are free though but the rest, you must pay RM5 for each download.


Actually, you should shop around, some of them selling K800i with and without a M2 at the same price so if you bought it at the same without a M2, then rugi lah, even though the 64mb M2 is nothing but at least you could use it as a storage space for your mp3 songs or something. Better than nothing, right?

my AP set jus bought last mon, no m2 card attach...i check a few dealer, all oso saying no m2 card included....

my battery life ah?wif 3G always on, talking hours mor than 3 hrs per day, so hav to charge everyday lo...1 full charge should can last a day..i nt sure hw bout my battery la,is de AP set one lo....

Don't worry about the battery because if you buy it from a reputable dealer, your battery shouldn't have a problem whether it's AP or not.

Dunno why they removed the M2 card bundle, it's not that they lowered the price or what, I guess all the dealers pakat to do such a dishonest thing. Anyway, for Penang, the Midland set at RM1580, comes with M2, pouch (not crystal casing) and screen protector as a standard package, it's slightly more expensive than the ones sold in KL but at least the M2 is included. My K800i also without a M2, Midland set somemore. Should have bought it here in Penang.

because the phone mode only can be used to set the phone as modem to connect the internet....
cannot transfer the files....
u only can transfer the file using the transfer mode

it says you may have to purchase the M2 seperately from your phone, it doesnt say its included.
and most ppl who bought midlands set earlier on didnt have the 64mb card.
including me, i wouldnt have cared anyway since i went out and got a 1gb right away.

can even copy and paste files just as if it was a thumbdrive...

i need some help from all sifu here, it is my k800i cannot start normally since yesterday, the screen of hp just turn white without any picture and no responce no matter whatever button u press , what happen? it happen since i try to install a game, is that becoz of firmware crash? please help

yes... ur k800i got the wsod, white screen of death.. corrupted firmware coz by corrupted files etc (most probably is the game tat corrupt whole thing)..

a reflash of firmware will fix it.. service center for ori set or any shop whit firmware reflash service..

Can be firmware corrupted or virus infection. I guess reflash will solve the problem.
