the latest firmware, there's nothing big with it. the only problem we are suffering is the video preview. the whole phone will lag once you go tru the videos of high quality

ic. that's the only prob holding me back from updating it.

anyone knows where can I find official K800i themes, wallpaper and ringtones? Coz last time when I own K700i there's a website provide those official themes and wallpapers(more proffesional than normal own-made 1)

Use joystick to let the phone autofocus and take picture tips
Glad that my tips to use the joystick instead of the camera button works and useful to everyone. Basically you just press the joystick centre button (not up, left, right, or down). For all occasion, I find it better. Using the camera button usually very troublesome to me. But it's your choice.

Latest R1GB001 firmware
As I posted a few pages back. DO NOT UPGRADE TO THE LATEST FIRMWARE (for no reason whatsoever).

Please hold back your upgrade until the next good firmware comes out. There's no significant improvements cosmetically or functionality. (the video preview is utter CRAP, it makes me feel like the K800i was a Nokia Symbian phone).

Best firmware till date (comparing overall) is R1ED001. Using SEUS will update to the latest R1GB001. So only alternative is to engage people doing phone flashing or to SE service centre that has R1ED001.

Aiyah Bro, your phone was bought on the same day as mine, still spanking new and you have updated it so fast? So far no problems with my phone except for the once in a while, F4 characters will appear in the options. Other than that, no major problems at all. It will be useful if SE lists out the bugs fixed for each firmware like what NVIDIA is doing, then at least, we'll know whether the firmware solves our problem(s) or is it the firmware that we really need to download.

Yes, I bought my phone from one of those shops.

Plus, I did the mass messages as well but I didn't count how many. I think it would be about 20 max.

So far, the problem I mentioned earlier about the "bug" I encountered, didn't happen again. So its like my phone is back to normal

Just a general question for K800i users, is there any dislikes so far in using this phone? as in it's size, buttons, functions and all.

well, the design pushed me away for this one... Its a lil bit longer and squarish compared to other SE phones... But the camera i must say is one of the best out there...

for me, the size of the phone is ok.
what i dont like is the number keys placed so low, makes typing sms with 1 hand harder.

i hardly use the 3G also, unless someone here got some cun chick to intro to test video calls
