hi. i got my k800i today.
but it's locked by vodafone. any idea where can i go for unlock my phone? cause my dad said even in london, hardly can find anyone to unlock this phone... your help is appreciated. |

Just a query about charging your K800i - when I plug the charger in, there's a pop-up message that says "Optimized Charging".
Question - is there any other kind of charging? The reason I'm asking is because I saw this (take note of bold sentence): QUOTE Flashing the OS Source: How To.....The prospect of this scared me to death. It was a risk. Turn on phone, clear out all data from your memory and contacts etc.. back them up to wherever, like Outlook 3. Remove all non-standard themes - leave only the ones that came with the phone and activate the default. 4. Do a master reset, ie. leave the phone as you first got it from your network provider, this can sometimes activate the earlier point of removing themes and therefore point 3 may not be nexcessary. 5. TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY FOR 30 SECONDS AND REMOVE YOUR SIM! 6. Do a final charge check before hooking up to your PC. This is the first time I'm using a Sony Ericsson and naturally, all this is new to me. So, does that mean to properly charing a phone means turning it off and charging it? I have never in my life turned off my phone to charge it, I normally just leave it on while charging. For example, a couple of days ago, I just found out that there are shortcuts to access the menus in the phone. For example, if I enter the main Menu, pressing "3" will bring me to the "Entertainment" menu, and pressing "3" again will bring me to games. EROM: R3A011 or R3A016 The obvious: R3A016 is newer than R3A011 (bugfixing)! Older EROM have bug that can make phone dead (WSOD) in certain condition. |

i have just bought a celcom 3G 256k sim card for my K800i, but weird thing is happen. i cannot access to my sim contact, only can read/save phone contact. try that sim card on my old motorola E398 and it can access the sim contact without any problem...... later i try it again on my friend W850 but also cannot read sim contact......
