about the m2,
does it matter whether it is from sony or sandisk ?
also how to check IMEI ?

btw i just got my k800 for RM1200 AP + RM140 512MB Sandisk M2.
ok ar?

checked my firmware, it is R1EG001

Is it necessary for me to change my firmware?

Also i want to get rid of the O2 thingy there. Is reformatting the way?

Sorry for so many question, first time SE and AP user. Very nervous.

ok... clear now, thanks for the info..
yeah, i plan to go to SESC too to check about my total call time....
sure mehh they willing to change a new phone??hehehe...

btw, clareen... as what sunauto said in the battery dispute issues... i also meant same as what he said... i'm not pointing u anythings.. but i do disappointed from ur reply to asked us to go to SESC by ourself.... but i think it is better for u to say that you'll check it for us....as what u've done.... that will sound better for us actually...
so... if i do make any 'not-so-good-feeling' toward u... i apologize... cheer.. icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Kindly read that paragraph below~*

Conclusion :
Stop blaming Clareen for suggesting you to meet up with SESC to verify. What if you send back the phone and battery to her and she replied that her supplier / SESC said it's genuine? You too can accuse her for lying that it's genuine cause the main point here is you don't trust her and that's the bottom line.

Anyway, I missed the good old days whereby we can get to buy extended batteries as an option, I remember my first Moto and Nokia, if I buy the thick extended battery, the phone can simply last a week.  sweat.gif  How nice if we can have BST-33 with 1260 mAh capacity.  rclxms.gif
luckily k800's battery can last really long and don't give me much headache
7 hours continuous talk time, and i really tested that before with ........ tongue.gif

Well, it's the same, it's either Sony or Sandisk for M2. As for the firmware thingy, it's not compulsory to upgrade it unless you want to but lets not have a kiasu syndrome here, trying to have the latest firmware and beat everyone to the finishing line as some latest firmwares might be buggy and there's no way to reverse it.

The O2 thingy nice what, why you wanna get rid of it? My friend has a K610i, Vodaphone set, nice logo on the casing. drool.gif Anyway, I don't know the answer to your question so sorry. Maybe the other sifus can help.

As for checking IMEI, here you go, *#06#

Well, HPM-70 or even HPM-82 sounded better than the original HPM-60 that comes with K800i but it will even sound miles better if you buy this, Sennheiser CX300, jenssen is doing a bulk on this earphone here, it will blow you away, audiophile quality. Good stuff.  thumbup.gif

is it the cx300 really good???..
can it by pass my koss ksc75??...
if yes... i'll plan to buy it....
but if the the cord is not so long.. or the type with extension one...
that gonna be perfect to replace the hpm70....

yea..i do love my k800's battery life. So far i don't need an extra battery though im pairing it with my I.Tech R35 (BT Stereo headset + HPM-70 headset) whole day listening music via my k800.

I agree that the batt life for the K800i is very long. My batt can last up to 5days without charging under normal usage (a few calls and sms a day) compared to my samsung which could only last up to 3 days max.
Camera quality is also quite impressive for a phone and definately way better than the N73.

Well, CX300 has a decent cord length, it's the ultimate earphones for portable devices, the bulk order is still open, if you're still interested, you better hurry and contact jenssen ya. He's selling RM155 aje, usual price is RM290 and he said full refund if proven to be a fake but this is his 8th bulk, should be no problem lah. My friend bought CX300 from the US, I tested it on a Creative Zen, very impressive sound. wub.gif HPM-70 falls pale in comparison but I'm using it as an audio connector. tongue.gif

You can safely say this here because we're K800i kaki but if you mention this in N73's thread, you'll kena flame kaw kaw from every corner. The camera is good since it has AF and Xenon flash, most of the shots appeared decent enough. Hopefully there's a K850i with 5 megapixel camera and preferably with optical zoom.

Its true that i can safely say this here but im actually saying it based on experience. Cuz i actually have a few pics taken by my friend's N73 in my pc and the picture quality is really bad..im actually very disapointed with it as i was considering to get one for myself tongue.gif

Hmm...i dont think a 5MP phone camera is necessary yet. A 3.2MP is already sufficient. What they must do is to further improve the pic and video quality of their phones by reducing the noise and increasing the sharpness as close as they can get to Digi cams. However, if they would to make optical zoom in phones i think the phone might be bulkier than the K800i.

yeah lor...i agree with u. But lucky i dont really record videos instead i rather snap pics tongue.gif. As long as the phone can record video its good enough for me. biggrin.gif
