Have you tried downloading new themes to your phone? See if the icons will go away if you apply the new themes? If it's a yes, then borrow a K800i phone from your friend and copy the themes to your phone and apply them. I'm just suggesting this to you, if it doesn't work, please don't kill me. I'm trying to help, okay?  icon_rolleyes.gif

wuu it doesnt work sad.gif

i must find a way to remove it, i think the icon is there cus my phone is AP and its not a local set or anything, even the manual is in some weird language. I must find a way to remove it. Thanks for trying to help though.

One thing i'm really pleased with this phone is its Camera, the best camera phone i have ever tested, really nice clear pics, especially in the dark thumbup.gif

yes it cant support chinese text, and i have no other digicam to take the pic with, but the normal and should-be "globe" or "www" icon changed to O2 logo, when i click at it, it straight go to some O2 site in weird language. they changed a total of 2 icon in the menus, both reflecting O2 stuff. 1 is O2 site, another the bookmarks become O2 crap as well.

the menu icons are named "O2 Active" & "O2 Bookmark" both are at the first two icons top left beside the game icon.

yea its like that, even my fren's set he bought from aussie.. from a company called 'Three' they replaced the globe thing with '3'.. pressing it will direct u to their service or sumthing, the keys are different from our normal set.. n if im not mistaked the 'menu' button on the main screen is replaced by something else also...
i guess if u dont wan all taht u have to flash ur phone.. but the u'll have to live with the keypad wiht the o2 sign

woh, the warranty will void ah if i flash? hmm, a risky move. anyway it actually doesnt bother me much, only that i would like it more if it was the original SE look. And i dont need chinese text input or support, i cant read nor write it.

just curious, where can i do this flashing? is there a software i must download? if so where can i get it? thanks.

hey guys, i have a problem with my K800i.

today i suddenly couldnt make a call or receive a call with the phone, whenever i make a call it got cut right away, not even a ringing tone, but the other side did receive my call which registered as a miss call, but whenever someone calls me, i do receive it for like 2 seconds, and when i try to answer it, it just disconnects, i have triple checked that it is not due to my sim card cus i tested it on another phone and it works ok.

I can still receive/send SMSs though.

i am in need of serious help!

my 3G settings have been fine for the 1 month i have been using this phone.

and yes, my sim card is a 3G sim card. I use 3G pretty extensively, video calls/net surfing etc.

the problem just started today, last nite was still ok.

i hope this problem is just temporary, maybe the network is congested or something due to chinese new year.
