im recently bought mine, its a black w810i

have any1 experience the music goes "buzzzzz" while playing songs?? it doesnt stop until u pause it and play again then the sound goes off....quite a few  times already....

and can recommend a media player for this phone....cant pause while watching movie....cant fast forward.....cant do anything
*
i've been using w810i for around 5months, and got no problem so far(hope this will remains in the future).bout the 'buzzz' sound..i've never experience that before as i always listen to music using my headset on.cause i sked my phone speaker burst and listen directly from the phone consume more battery as you can feel the heat from your phone.

actually, you can fast forward or rewind while watching movie, just tab on the arrow button (either left or right) from the directional arrow. hold on it, then it automatically will ff or rwd.

overall,i guess this phone is just fine for its price, aint paying for rm2k or so.for a rm1k+ phone i guess that's all we can get.hmm..just the problem with my camera button.its hard to press sometimes.but yet..it is still functioning. thumbup.gif

W810 looks slimmer than K800

But of them are good phone and it depends on your budget. Price diff is around RM250 - RM300.

I wanted to buy the 810i but after hearing all these hissing problems, i'm not so sure. How bad is the problem? I know about almost not hearing it at higher volumes and its usually visible on mp3's that have a "softer" part, but how bad is the hiss really?
*
not really that bad as you think... just dont pay attention to it... I sometimes have mild tinnitus so i dont really hear hiss but i hear RINGGGGG lol laugh.gif

If you are looking for a hiss free walkman... so far i think only w550 and w900 dont have it... not sure about w950 though

Its llike that for the better... to save battery power

I've also noticed that the phone goes into standby mode faster with newer firmwares...

So just bear with it... its just to save battery

-Battery = +electric = +bill = -money laugh.gif

R4EA031 is the latest but not official.. wat is meant by not official is, it is not widely available via SEUS... only can be updated to tat firmware from shop or se service center..

hissing noise? can only be heard at low volume and soft songs using the earset.. but not all ppl can notice it and mind abt it..

Some phone or device keeps trying to send a file to my laptop via bluetooth. i accidentally accepted it once and my antivirus identified it as "commwarrior" virus and promptly deleted it. My laptop only identified the sender as a string of numbers. However, I'm not sure whose phone is infected, but is there a way to tell if my w810 is? Btw, it happened while I'm at home. I'm not sure if it could be a neighbour's phone though.

Recently i am into taking photo with my w810i but i think that my w810 produce not so good quality photo even with autofocus. Coz I took some with autofocus also it looks blur, maybe i am not using the correct techniques or is it b'coz of handphone then we really need some extra skills when taking photo? I heard some forumers said autofocus is important especially for beginners. How true is this? Well, i am a real beginners FYI. Anyone can share some tips or advices? Thanks in advance unsure.gif

dont worry.. wont be ur w810i tat is infected by commwarrior virus.. because only symbian phones will get infected by it and can send it around via BT..

u can try to switch off ur phone, if the files/virus is still detected, that means it is not ur phone, most probably ur neighbour phones..

still blur? because it shakes when u took the pic... u need to hv very steady hands.. u will tend to shake it esp in between when u press half-way to focus it and when u press it full to capture it..

all u hv to do.. practice makes perfect... find out the best way to press the button for auto-focusing and to snap the pic without shaking the phone..

after taking the pic, view the pic taken in the phone properly.. u will noticed if it is blur.. when it looks good in the phone screen, but still look disappointing/blur when u view it in the comp, that is when u shake ur hand when u took the pic.. i know it is hard to see if the pic is perfect or blur in ur phone screen initially, but believe me after u hv taken 200-300 pic using ur phone, u will know easily/instinctively u hv taken a good snap or u hv shaken ur hand during pressing the button half way to full..

or else.. the object is moving, it is hard to get a clear image...

No symbian phones in my house. Yea, so it must be a neighbour's phone. Thanks. smile.gif
