I didn't notice about this thread until I was searching for

I had a very serious problem with my phone

The problem arises after setting up the email account for my phone, after finished setting up, I try to retrieve the email, after about 30 seconds on more, the screen started flashing white then black. Later the whole screen turn white and all the keypad are not functioning. Try to off my phone but it couldn't even turn off, so I had to remove the battery and then put it back in. At first, I thought maybe I done something wrong with the setting, so I attempt to turn my phone back and try to do a master reset, but I got the flashing white screen again, all keypad still not functioning. Give me no choice I send my phone back the Sony Ericsson Service Center yesterday. The Technician called me up this morning told me it need to change the template. Luckily it was still under warranty.... but still break my heart

I was surfing the net about this white screen problem and look like it have a terms name for it "WSOD". Some forum mentioned it could saved by flashing it...but too bad not in my case.

Anyway, I wanna to ask some expert here, if my phone have changed the template, will I manage to get The latest firmware? Original contents, The Demo Tour back? this is because previously, way months ago, I had do a full reseting for my phone. So everything gone, the flash themes and the demo tour didn't exist in my phone memory anymore.

As for ur case, u r correct...ur phone juz got WSOD-ed (white screen of death)
The only hope for u is go and claim the waranty at ur nearest SE centre..
