I thought u need to activate first then only u can use,rite? juz like how u use it using GPRS. Browsing using handphone also can mah,rite? Not necessarily through PC/Laptop.

not all area is covered by EDGE same like 3G...
in order to use it:
1.activate ur gprs
2.make sure there is Edge coverage by looking at above the signal indicator for an E sign at ur phone...
3.happy browsing

How do u know u are actually using EDGE connection. U hv to register or acticate,rite? I hv already activate my gprs and i also hv E sign at my hp. AM i using EDGE? No, rite? ANd one more thing, the speed is really not like what i expected. Plz advice! smile.gif

M'sia ISP edge/3G won't give you 'full speed'. As long their 'quota of usage' reached certain level then capable to claim that.

Good also lar...as if the higher speed you dapat, the faster battery life drain off. sweat.gif

u dun need to activate ur EDGE... (but u want to use EDGE u must activate your GPRS first)
EDGE just faster than GPRS(just go to wikipedia.org and check it up key word EDGE) tongue.gif

that is one thing im not sure ...did EDGE payment same as GPRS or free hmm.gif just like wi-fi... cool2.gif (i not yet try it,but i think mostly EDGE also need to pay but just the speed faster then GPRS)

izzit better to take pictures without zooming??
cuz when i take pics with full zoom, its like a picture make of "squares squares" sweat.gif

i figure out sometimes eiten need to use some good lightning around the area if you want to capture a nice photo. is this true?
