Can anyone explain how does buying and using internet data works.
Say I buy a new simpack and reload RM10.
Now I have RM20.
If I just want to use maybe checking whatsapp and wechat.

Subscribe data packages lor .. upon subscription, u need to assign at least 500mb per month to assign to. Then you can use ur whatsapp, wechat, others like youtube, net surfing also applicable as well

Anyway, make sure that you're in an area with 4G/LTE coverage, using a 4G phone, and set the network to 4G. I just activated a new onexox SIM today and reloaded rm10 immediately, but the validity is not updated to 28 months. Do I have to wait 2 weeks for it?
