I bought my 'US' version seiko there, pretty good and fast delivery too. Only prob is that anything worth more than 1k will be stuck in Customs and u will hafta go to Customs KLIA Sepang to get it and pay 6% GST.

Hi, i've just sent my Tag for servicing and they told me it needs a complete overhaul. My understanding of overhaul means they will take the parts out, clean it and lubricate it but the lady that attended to me told me that they will replace the whole movement with a new one. Is that correct?

First time sending the watch for servicing and it feels so sad to be seeing it a month later tongue.gif

Well i asked and she said it's recommended to change so that it will be running like a new watch again. I'm just curious because the movement alone can't be so cheap.

Guys, maybe I butthurt, but feel free to look at the transcript in spoiler. In essence, the relationship between the seller (Joe) and I turned sour and he blocked me at the end of the conversation. We were first negotiating about this watch deal. Then the whole thing went south.

Main question:
Considering Singapore is so small, is it wrong to meetup with the seller of the watch to check a unwarrantied watch's condition before I buy?
I like to chat about watches, is it wrong to share the beauty, solicit a response on the beauty of the watch?
Am I being annoying in the conversation by asking to meet up for purpose of checking the condition of the watch?
Is it morally wrong to have the contact of the successful buyer so that I can further purchase from him?

I'm asking all these to avoid bad deals in the future. Feel free to flame me. Maybe it's me that I need to change. Thanks /k.
