Guys, maybe I butthurt, but feel free to look at the transcript in spoiler. In essence, the relationship between the seller (Joe) and I turned sour and he blocked me at the end of the conversation. We were first negotiating about this watch deal. Then the whole thing went south.

Main question:
Considering Singapore is so small, is it wrong to meetup with the seller of the watch to check a unwarrantied watch's condition before I buy?
I like to chat about watches, is it wrong to share the beauty, solicit a response on the beauty of the watch?
Am I being annoying in the conversation by asking to meet up for purpose of checking the condition of the watch?
Is it morally wrong to have the contact of the successful buyer so that I can further purchase from him?

I'm asking all these to avoid bad deals in the future. Feel free to flame me. Maybe it's me that I need to change. Thanks /k.

imo just reading not even halfway already i would say u are asking too much.
it sounds like u don't trust the seller at all... then he should also have the right to ask for ur Facebook etc.
and like he said... he's not forcing u to buy... u always have the option to walk away also like he did.

Thanks for the honest opinion. I agree that I'm not trusting him enough, and I'll always keep it that way for online deals. sharing personal info such as Facebook is a sure way to test if the seller is reliable or not. Especially important with a RM11k watch!!

As always, dealing online is about buying the seller. If you aren't comfortable with it, my suggestion is to get it from a brick and mortar shop.

Problem about this chrono urushi model from Seiko is completely sold out. It's not an everyday Seiko. Its really really rare!! But again, thanks for your opinion.
