curved class with minimal design.

Any other brands out there?

thanks

I believe this type of design is called Bauhaus.

Nomos, Junkers & Stowa to name a few...or The legendary Bambino.

Then it's quite black?  Lol

From far can pass as a nomos or not.

How dare you..why would people buy DW so that it can pass as a Nomos. Doesn't make sense...the other way round maybe lah.

Yes, I had Rubber B on my gmt before, and I honestly prefer bracelet. In fact, the only rubber straps I have are for my 007/009, LLD and PAM.

wow..very nice. the shade of green on the strap matches perfectly with the gmt hand. How expensive is a rubber b strap?

Anyone try to fit 20mm/22mm strap on 21mm watch before? If yes mind to share pic and advice. Thanks
*
user posted imageuser posted image
LEFT: 20mm Leather
RIGHT: 22mm nato squeezed into 21mm lug width. Nato is of thin variant and a bit of bunching occurred.

I couldn't fit a thick 22mm nato into it though. Did not want to risk destroying the nato strap.

would like to share my latest haul.

for those that can't afford expensive watches like me, and looking for a nice dress watch (with a decent movement), this is it.

i bought this cccp heritage from zalora, with coupon for rm84 only. presentation wise, together with the slava 2427 movt, and the look of the watch itself for me is well worth it for rm84.

now i have a proper beater watch for office use.

Automatic?... Awesome deal

No, Keep it. Resale value probably only rm200-250. U can only get a DW nato strap for that price.

well mine was small in size, but able to put out more than 200 lumens...and neutral white tone too...tho doesnt matter as much for monochrome.
also the room wasnt completely dark...the right side including the crystal was lighted using diffused controlled sunlight.
i only used a torch on the left side to bring out the bracelet.

i did this one quite a few yrs ago using another cheap camera.
this one 100% lighted again using diffused controlled sunlight, and coming from the right again.
left side the ridges was just sunlight being bounced from a white envelope.

wtf..sounds so complicated. Results speak for itself though..awesome shot.

Anyway..which GW5610 to get? i like the one with the combination bracelet

ya, took quite a few mins to set up and some trial and error the first time.
after that ok already tongue.gif

gwm5610? of cos the standard color...dont bother with negative unless u want to struggle reading it in low light.
and ya buy the combo bracelet.
*
Yea..standard looks OG. btw..whats the difference between the 1 and 1jf aesthetically?

From online pics, i notice that the 1 has a more purplish solar panel compared to the jdm model which is more dark and black.

not aware of any differences.
1 just means black, the letters just means for diff market...all should still be made in same factory.
maybe ur just seeing reflections...cos all solar panels have that purplish tint at certain angle.
*
yeah..probably just reflections and pics from different sources taken on different lighting conditions. thanks for the clarification.
