I am also Maxis fixed line Broadband user, from Puchong. I have some problem with my old modem (TP-Link) and now I get a new one (D-Link).

However, I have forget my password of maxis account, is the similar with username + 0 at the end? For example,

Username: 12345
Password will be 123450

??

Please help...

not so sure cause my one just plug and suft... not need user name and password.. my modem is Aztech..i think..

For my case is my "Modem No." + 1

So, username = 27xxx
password = 27xxx1

As long as my torrenting is stable and consisten, I ve no complain. The torrenting is much higher speed than the speedtest. I can get 2.0/0.5mbps.

With now change to belkin modem router, it much more stable and no more frequent reset anymore compare aztech.

You haven't solve your disconnection problem? Try DIY yourself. Connect directly from the poll box into your modem. See how is it.

I'm interested to apply the maxis wired broadband but a little bit scare with their 18-months minimum contract. What happen if I unsubscribe before 18 months?

You will get sue and pay heavy fine. After apply look nice but later give you lousy service. So don't apply.

How much is pricing for maxis wired 2mbps? I saw at maxis site only got 1mbps and cost is RM88 permonth.

it's more like u apply for 1mbps...and then if maxis feels like it, they upgrade your package to 2mbps.

This is maxis broadband lah. Sure cap the speed lah. But better than screamyx unlimited downloads.

question, my modem (from maxis) is the aztech model.. can't remember wat model num.. rain damn heavy weeks ago n lightning struck like mad.. went back home, the back switch (on/off) was off..

does this mean the electric current went through and popped the switch? but its still working till today.. gotta get a power surge soon
