as a fellow malay myself, i was kind of disgrace too hearing this. shakehead.gif

but then there's one day a malay engineer came to my house because my problem is isolated case. he was well-dressed and knows what he speaks too (in technical term). and he was at my home earlier than promised for about 10minutes.

i guess the difference in salary made u different too sweat.gif

Maxis coverage area only for places that Maxis bid to lay their own infrastructure during the housing construction.

People who pay their fixed line rental to Tmnet most probably cant get Maxis fixed line.

I have a question.

If the modem DSL is blinking, then what is the reason? Sometimes, i reset it, it will be fine again. Is it something to do with the modem rather than the line?

something to do with the line for my case.

they'll change the modem at first, and if the problem still occurs they'll check the exchange.

Hi, I'm living in Bandar Sunway and thinking to sign up for the Maxis Wired Broadband service.

I tried Streamyx first but apparently they had problems entering my address into their system and in addition to that there are no available ports in my area. It's been more than a month and my issue has yet to be resolved.

So I would like to ask here would be advisable for me to take up the Maxis wired broadband? Any major issues so far that would deter me from applying?

I from Bdr Sunway also. Using Maxis wired almost 1 month. So far no any issue & quite happy with the speed. Average getting 1.8- 2.0Mbps. rclxms.gif

Sigh, just called Maxis to check for my area coverage. Apparently even though I'm living in Bandar Sunway, my street is not covered =/.
