just registered for 1mbps maxis bb in bandar utama.. hope it doesn't disappoint

i wasn't told of a 2mbps package plan whn i registered at TTDI office..

but i was told the speed can go up to 2mbps with the 1mbps plan

is there any capping or speed throttling for maxis wired bb?

my hsemate got a avg dl speed of 188kbps whn dling 30 rock (this was at night).. i'm on 1mbps wired plan..

found out that u can't apply for 2mbps plan unless maxis offers u.. only for existing 'old' customers i guess..

apparently no.. its still in testing phase.. only several locations are covered.. IINM

maxis wired hasn't fail me up till now.. constant speed.. hopefully it stays that way.. forever!

no major probs so far with wired Maxis.. altho the service tends to have pms once in a while.. mine was slow a few days ago but back to normal after one day

hmm.. got the Aztech modem frm maxis as well.. sometimes the U/L speed is higher than my D/L speed weird....

go other maxis branch and get from them lo... i dont believe the whole maxis branch in mareshia no stock

if they do send u the bill, u'll be wasting 2-3 weeks of the free 2 mths bonus

go directly to the maxis centre in ur area and kick a fuss.. go to the manager to be more effective.. i bet in 2-3 days u'll have ur modem and installation done

question, my modem (from maxis) is the aztech model.. can't remember wat model num.. rain damn heavy weeks ago n lightning struck like mad.. went back home, the back switch (on/off) was off..

does this mean the electric current went through and popped the switch? but its still working till today.. gotta get a power surge soon
