They are connected to both 11n and 11ac but maxed at 300Mbps.

Anyway I have solved it via a chat feature with Ubiquiti guy.
Now all good devices are showing max Mbps as they should

What I did:
1. Reset the AP
2. Set to Single SSID name
3. Set DTIM to 3 and 3
4. Set 11ng to channel 1 - HT20 Auto
5. Set 11na to channel 36 - VHT80 Auto
6. Enable fast roaming

Have yet to play with RSSI yet

Hi forummer, There was a new product UNIFI Gigabeam ,
airMAX AC 60 GHz/5 GHz Radio with 1+ Gbps Throughput .

Was thinking to bridge the connection for UNIFI 800MBPS on both house under 500m distance. To maximized the bandwidth , this product are able to provide 2.16ghz support, do you guys think that this were sufficient for cheapest solution while getting full speed support?
While this were the only product that i found were around the budget and fulfill the speed, any other recommendations?

Now if only SubTel or anyone else brought this to Malaysia, that would be awesome. Mikrotik wireless wire SKUs are already here, but I don't like the LHG form-factor, and the wAP form-factor has poor survivability in tropical Malaysia. And they also don't have the 5Ghz back-up in case the 60Ghz connection drops out.

Great, It's even cheaper than Gigabeam but there was missing the 5ghz backup channel.
Gigabeam cost 129$ Dollar per unit.
RBwAPG-60adkit(Wireless wire) cost 198$.
But the retail price when landing here are going much higher. rclxub.gif

thumbup.gif Awesome, I think for this are able archives Local Gigabit speed. Could fully utilised the speed for 800mbps and local transfer. thumbsup.gif

But i had another question, as i were using it as outdoor unit. Do i required a surge protector on both end ? I got no experiences on surge protection. sweat.gif

I'm looking to replace my default TM Unifi router with Edge Router X. Currently on the 500mb package. Already have 2 units of UAP AP AC Lite for the Wifi.

Is this a good solution to make use of my bandwidth?

Also would like to use hypptv still. Do you have suggestion for config/setup if hypptv is in different room and need to share network with playstation & tv in a setup like this?

CODE
Router (ground) --> Switch (ground)            -->            Switch (1st floor - wired already)
                        --> PoE to UAP AP AC Lite x2                   --> HyppTV
                        --> NAS                                        --> PS4
                                                                       --> Smart TV

Is this available here? USW Flex Mini

Thanks a bunch!

I just got my EdgeRouter-X on yesterday, setup and work like champ, with offload I can max out my 800/200 TM Unifi connection speed with either ipv4/v6, it replaced my MikroTik hAP ac2 due to I need ipv6 but MikroTik doesnt support ipv6 offload, I end up get about 350mbps max in ipv6.

No problem at all

If u have an erx. U wont need a switch. Just use the erx to manage your hypptv.

actually at the hypptv I am thinking of connected the tV and PS4 via cable instead of Wifi at the moment.

What's the best way? I think a switch that can do vlan right?

vlan are done on the router.. on switch side. it just carry on the vlan to be passed. so on your wifi, you might need tag the vlan on certain ssid which the ssid will be use for hypptv. nod.gif

Oh wow. Nobody should need to restart their router anymore. I have a good feeling that problem will go away forever. Erx and ac lr is a very good choice. Bang for bucks in my opinion. Out of curiosity and not being familiar with azure, what makes u choose that for the controller?

I'm using the Azure free trial first to see how it runs. you can use the virtual machine to install the controller. otherwise you need a cloud key or real pc to run 24/7. you can also use raspberry Pi. since the controller cost more than RM 400, I'm thinking of trying rasp pi later on.
