Thanks
I have decided on UniFi AC LR AP and disable the ASUS wifi and see how it performs
*
Little tips for AC LR, set ur region to Australia to get the maximum 5GHz tx power, not US. I used US for both of my nanoHD and AC LR, and wonder why 5GHz in the LR is few dBm lower than what I set but nanoHD has no problem to reach the maximum tx power, finally solve it by changing region to Australia.

Setup the AP AC LR earlier and disabled the wifi of Asus 5300.
Simple setup but :
1. Unable to use my Mac to run Unifi Controller so had to use WindoZe instead
2. Would it be ok to combine 2.4 and 5 or should I separate them?
3. Everything on auto mode now and the 2.4 is on channel 6 while 5 is on 161 - is this even desirable?

Did a speedtest - wifi speed doesnt even come close to what the Asus 5300 can do but range is excellent even for my 3 storey house.

Please take a look and suggest - much appreciated

You r using HT40 for 5GHz, change it to HT80, use DTIM=3 if u use Apple devices. May try to compare channel 149 and 36, normally lower channel coverage bigger if tx power is same.

Your devices are connected at 802.11n not 802.11ac, max speed is 300mbps.

They are connected to both 11n and 11ac but maxed at 300Mbps.

Anyway I have solved it via a chat feature with Ubiquiti guy.
Now all good devices are showing max Mbps as they should

Because the previous pic that you've attached shows both 5GHz devices are connected at 11na, that's why I said that. Btw, do you mind to share with us what have you done to fix it? Thx ya

I'm looking to replace my default TM Unifi router with Edge Router X.  Currently on the 500mb package.  Already have 2 units of UAP AP AC Lite for the Wifi.

Is this a good solution to make use of my bandwidth?

Also would like to use hypptv still.  Do you have suggestion for config/setup if hypptv is in different room and need to share network with playstation & tv in a setup like this?

CODE
Router (ground) --> Switch (ground)            -->            Switch (1st floor - wired already)
                        --> PoE to UAP AP AC Lite x2                   --> HyppTV
                        --> NAS                                        --> PS4
                                                                       --> Smart TV

Is this available here? USW Flex Mini

Thanks a bunch!

I just got my EdgeRouter-X on yesterday, setup and work like champ, with offload I can max out my 800/200 TM Unifi connection speed with either ipv4/v6, it replaced my MikroTik hAP ac2 due to I need ipv6 but MikroTik doesnt support ipv6 offload, I end up get about 350mbps max in ipv6.

No problem at all

Be aware that sometimes condo wall will be thicker and harder to pass thru signal, due to condo needs to support many many floors, it’s different with normal terrace houses

I used to have nanoHD and AC-LR, nanoHD does have a better 5G coverage and higher speed in mid and far point comparing to AC-LR, and better receiving power too. But in 2.4G, totally different story, AC-LR blows nanoHD away.

Or hold it 1st, UniFi 6 Lite is available on EA store now, price is just about 10USD higher than UAP-AC-LITE, soon they will release for more store. Recently UniFi 6 LR also hits FCC, expect to see them soon in EA store.

eth0 now got gigabit connection. I'm not using POE in powered from the UAP-AC-LR adaptor. using the ER-X power adaptor now. but now the UAP-AC-LR got 100 mbps, the rest are all gigabit. i think the cat 5e cable cannot support both POE+Gigabit. it can be either one but cannot do both right?

Check your cable, I've been using an 15M flat cable which is 32AWG to provide PoE+(at) to my Aruba AP, no problem at all, gigabit. Normal Cat.5E has at least 26AWG or standard 24AWG which is much thicker than my flat cable, shouldn't cause any problem.
