Stay with U6 series if you have lots of IoT devices is the verdict that I’m getting from Unifi releases pages

been using U6-Pro. performance, coverage and stability wise far better than U6-LR as tested myself. not to mentioned the U6-LR is seriously hot when touch

Hi cyberic. Yes I resolved mine with a direct link in to configure the device. Sorry didn't have time to give an update earlier.

Initially I'd thot it was a faulty WAN port - the vendor thought the same too when I reported the issue to him, and they were happy to do a RMA for me - but my last attempt was to connect direct to the UCG with a cable.. default IP is 192.168.1.1 - and I can access the config page. From there, you can enter your Telekom credentials (or whichever broadband service you are using) and after a reboot, the device can detect internet service on the WAN port.

The rest is the standard Unifi OS setup stuff.

Those looking for a direct upgrade from USG3, this UCG Ultra is the exact replacement (since like the USG3, it does not come with any wifi device, pair it with whatever APs you prefer).

I replaced my AC pro with U6 pro, it is much better coverage than NanoHD. U6 pro is good.

No issue with Unifi PPPOE. Not sure about Maxis but I presume they should be okay.

Looks like UXG Max, UXG Pro, CK Enterprise, UC Display and all the big Unifi items are starting to appear in SG market  drool.gif

Including Unifi access and rack products brows.gif

Pricelist
Don't recommend buying from this as they have higher prices when compared and it's before counting GST, but their stock are generally more complete and ready, use this as reference for products available in SG market

Carousell SG Seller
Recommend buying from this guy as they have cheaper prices and there's no GST so the prices you see is what you get, but due to that reason their stock are quickly ran out, so if it's in stock, I suggest acting fast to snatch up whatever you want  tongue.gif

Checking on behalf of friends who are considering a UDR for their apartment but are a mobile OS only (iPhones and iPads) household.

With TM being cunts and preventing the Unifi app from being distributed on the Malaysian App Store, the only avenues are;
1. Change region on iOS.
2. Get an Android phone and download Unifi app from an alternative store or sideload via APKmirror or similar.

Am I correct? Any other options?

Didn’t notice this before on iOS/iPadOS MY App Store. Are these newly named version specifically for Malaysian market in order for Ubiquiti to avoid TM’s court order?

Anyone tried yet? Same functionality as international version? No version history on App Store page, so I assume it’s quite new. Earliest review is from Nov 2024.

Tested briefly, looks similar if not the same, functionality wise seems the same as well

Probably just an app to ensure they can be listed in MY App Store without infringing on TM’s Unifi copyright
