Guys, can anyone confirm if Setel's CardTerus for transaction at Petronas pump works with HLB Wise Visa for Petrol cashback?

I looked through previous discussions, apparently there was a change in MCC along the way. Unclear if CardTerus is using MCC5542 or MCC 5541 or otherwise for CardTerus payment at Petronas pump.

MCC 5542 is used for Automated Fuel Dispensers and other similar services.

Setel CardTerus is not MCC 5542.

Has anyone every had experience switching from pledged HLB Wise FD credit card to one that doesn't required?

Say if you pledge an FD for a card, use it for say a year. How would you get the bank to waive the requirement for FD?

5541 Service Stations ( with or without ancillary services)
Last reported in 2021. Anyway HLB Wise only gives Petrol CB to MCC 5542, not like other CC which may extend to MCC5541.

For HLB Wise - MONTHLY CB...
8% CB on eligible Sat/Sun transactions.
i.e. Transaction date must be Sat or Sun.

For posting date issue,
Transactions POSTED on 1/12/22 - 31/12/22 (calendar month), the monthly (December) CB would be posted in January (happily the CB is posted early and viewable now).
If POSTED on 1/12/22 - 31/12/22 >RM500, then 8% weekend CB on eligible transactions.

Eg if you spent on Sat 31/12/22, but the transaction is posted on Monday 2/1/23, it is considered January transaction and will be part of Jan CB which is to be credited in Feb.

Please note: ONLINE CB is applicable to the listed merchants in T&C only, not all the online transactions with or without OTP verification.

eg KFC online - it is DINING not online.

Same here, got nothing. All my 10 tolls were either 1, 2 or 3. Not sure if unlucky or the dice is biased to smaller rolls. So far didn't win anything

Need to go to the branch you pledge and tell them you want to withdraw the card then submit as application for credit card.

Strictly No AF waiver since it was launched 10 years ago.
But it is worth to pay RM98 now instead of RM250/RM160 in the past that I had been paying.

The sst for my new card was waived after doing certain swipes and based on some ongoing campaign offering sst rebates.

What about old users? Waivable?
