QUOTE(ShengHeng @ Jul 24 2016, 03:01 PM) Test drove the 1.3 Advance variant. What i should say is what u pay is what u get. Dont expect anything better than vios or city or any of your b segment car. I was reading this forum board regarding Perodua Bezza and after I read this comment I had no doubt that this dude just recently got an Axia (or some other perodua cars) whom had an inner jealousy unleashed on the quote above. But you had a point, it definitely feels underpowered. I test drove the Bezza Advance variant and as much as I want to deny it, the performance is no different (maybe better) from my Axia Advance. The car feels heavy to be driven. So its very suitable for new drivers. But at the same time, it feels very lazy to move as well, so maybe thats how they manage to achieve a very good fuel consumption. Brake is decent for a perodua cars. A little throttle lag for this car too. The eco idle sounds rough to me when the car auto restart back the engine. Yes, the aircond, radio and every other thing else operates except the engine, so no worries. There is an electric power steering as per the SA, but to me, im like driving a larger car with hydraulic power steering, and the leather wrap on the advance variant steering dont feel any better. I would prefer the rubberised one. Same goes to the speedometer for the advance variant which looks abit cheapo to me. And the central locking isnt functional on the driver side's lock switch. Its only functional on the specially built-in central locking button found on the dash. The entire car is from a very thin structure. The seats are short, so u feel there is alot of legrooms. The doors are thin and so u feel a little more spacious. The floors are super thin till u can feel every humps and lumps on the frame, especially the reat seats. The car is super light till the entire car shakes even when u close the door gently. On the positive side, yes, it saves fuel and its a perodua! So, im pretty sure the maintenance cost and others comes in less expensive. Resale value for a perodua is rather good, afer all, we are malaysians and we prefer perodua, toyota, and honda just to name a few. It is spacious on the rear seat, and it looks alot more larger than the axia although it is of the same width amd height of the latter. The boot space i doubt thou as it appear not to be so spacious to me, or maybe its just me. However, hard plastics are to be found EVERYWHERE and the bold lining across the passanger dashboard isnt any piano black finishing. What i do love is the feel when u open the door from the outside (or maybe its a new car) .. it feels so solid! Wear and tear maybe? Anyway, to me, yes the car hits the right pricing spot. The only thing i would like to voice out is why the car is so underpowered!? I believe the similar engine used in indon variant avanza isnt that that bad. I would say attrage is a better car but of course u need to pay more. 1.2L mivec engine with low horsepower and torque count still gives u more satisfaction. Now there is a plus point for those who own an axia since axia feels better in overall because its small and cheapest, hence we dont demand more. Bezza, on the other hand, is more towards a game changer car and so ppl tend to expect more when the price is already so cheap. To me, the difference of price between axia and bezza (of the same specs of course) is the cost for the extra boot (not including vsc, push start, etc which is missing on the axia) Thats all for my review on the 1.3 advance variant Edit: I prefer Bezza lah. My Axia Advance already = Bezza Premium X sedan This post has been edited by CaughtYouLying: Jul 28 2016, 10:59 PM |

Its just my review. I may be right, i may be wrong. Its just my overall perspective. Edit: I prefer Bezza lah. My Axia Advance already = Bezza Premium X sedan And bro, u are wrong. I dont own any perodua cars either 😏 . I have no jealousy towards this car technology or styling or safety or pricing or whatsoever. As i mention in the first paragraph itself, what u pay is what u get. I am not against anyone to own bezza and who knows i might get one either. Cheap things doenst come in good price and vice versa. This we shall understand. And the fact that u said the bezza advance variant is same powered as your axia advance shows how underpowered it is already. Im quite satisfied with the overall car by looking at the pricing alone. Only the power i am not. And again, just my review. U can deny my statement. Yes, the fact that because u have an axia advance shows how much regret u are due to the price and specs bezza can offer. Thats why u may prefer bezza now. Peace bro ✌ u can always trade in and get new bezza hahahah They accept trade in too! |

Again, there is a significant diff in terms of power when u drive the 1.0 den the 1.3. However, it's a 1.3 engine -wht can 1 expect? Don't compare it to a 1.5 or anything more. I must say, only because it's an auto, my old nissan sunny is more responsive but there is of course no "pushed back in ur seat" feeling. If I compare it to the myvi, i think it feels the same. These are the only 2 1.3 engines I have driven.

Here's some testing I've done since yesterday around 8pm I get my new car until this morning I drive to work.
Engine Start Stop Button 1. Press button without step on break peddle - turn on Radio/Mutimedia System 2. Press button without step on break peddle - turn on Aircon and Meter 3. Press button with step on break peddle - Engine start GPS is using Lokatoo map, currently still not sure how to update, my SA told me can upgrade from service centre. But will try to search online. Bluetooth tested on iPhone able to connect and so far I only play music Eco Idle System very nice, Eco Idle engine stop back to start only takes about 1sec...and during Edo Idle engine stop, sometimes can stop for a few minutes, sometimes only about nearly 20sec, not sure izit the temperature detecter. Bezza Advance come with tinted which have 5 years warranty covered by Perodua. If you change to your own tinted, warranty will void. |

What settings do you mean beside turning it on and off?I am going fr the 44k spec though so i wont have this option lol If you go for Premium X, I think you need to worried about this Eco Idle system. Premium X Advance Here's the Smart Key...try to search any cover for smart key but only can find other brand like toyota, honda and etc. This post has been edited by daniel20588: Jul 29 2016, 10:14 AM |

QUOTE(chwai @ Jul 28 2016, 03:43 PM) is different creature for i-eloop, perodua system doesn't have any additional supercap or additional power storage and i wonder how it works for perodua. When i saw regen braking i immediately thought of i-eloop, but it wasn't the same this case. It seems like smart alternator than i-eloop to me. |
